I don't think Fiorentina's defence is all that, and they need to keep their striker fit, as has been said.

The issue with the defence could be naivety on Montella's part, however, as they're pretty gung-ho.

Players like Rossi and Borja Valero deserve to play in the Champions League. I've got a feeling that if we win our Play-Off we will meet Fiorentina in the Europa League.

Gervinho is actually underrated. Wenger clearly misused him. He is a donkey when it comes to finishing, but he is a very direct player who was playing in an Arsenal side that was slower in its build-up.

I like Gervinho. Don't take that as a WUM.

I mean they'd be paying between €25m and €30m for a player they'd be loaning out straight away. Not sure how supporters would view that in honesty.

Would it matter than much? It's not like he'd be walking straight into the team. And if anything, Jese, who Madrid fans love, would potentially have his place under threat.

Well it wouldn't matter that much, but loaning him out just tells me even Real Madrid don't think he is that necessary just now- I've no idea what Perez is planning to spend however, I'd just assumed that the bulk of the spending would be on getting someone to compete for Benzema's place.
