Here's one for you Italian footy experts:
What chances are there Prandelli might give Rossi the nod ahead of Balo at the WC if he's fully fit?
I reckon he'll play both of them.
No place for Immobile then?
He's only got one cap. Would be surprised it he started such an inexperienced player at the World Cup despite his form this season.
The advantage with Rossi is that he can play wide if they go 433 rather than two up top.
Hard to predict their team though because they've got some really good attacking options, that are also versatile, and they seem to tweak their formations.
I'm hoping they play 352 against us as I think that'll be our best chance of getting something from the game.
Thanks DK. Reason I asked is because of the WC Top scorer thread. Didn't see him featured in the odds and wondered what you might get on him for top scorer, but I suppose you wouldn't expect him to get too many if he's moved out wide.

Depends on how they set up, as I say. I remember watching them in a friendly and he played both of them up top in a 352. Rossi is still capable of scoring from the wing, as you know, so could be a good outsider.
I've a feeling top scorer will come from Argentina. Have you seen their group?

Ouch. Tbh though, I've barely watched Argentina since the last WC - if they still play to the striker, the Higuaín would be a good bet, but they've got so many goals in their players that it could also be very spread out.
Their attack is immense. Aguero, Higuain, Di Maria and Messi.
True what you say about the goals being spread out. In qualifying Messi got 10, Higuain 9 and Aguero 5 - yet Suarez was top scorer with 11.

Mastour to make his AC Milan debut at 15y 11M?

I thought you weren't allowed to play in Serie A until you're 16.
Making a fifteen year old play with the likes of Muntari and Robinho is disgusting.

I've heard good things about this kid. But it reiterates how bad things have got for Milan that they're even entertaining the thought of playing him at 15 let alone actually doing it.
Think I saw some youtube clips some time ago and he looked the works, but it's far too early to tell at his age. So many things can derail a promising career.
Yeah I think I've seen the said video, and I agree he does look quality from that, but it still shows how far they've fallen that he's near the team because he's still just a kid.
Might watch the game and see how he does though.
The Inter rebuilding process will be well underway this summer:
Zanetti, Cambiasso, Wálter Samuel, Mariga, Milito, Castellazzi all gone already and Vidic has been brought in.
They're going to have to invest heavily to narrow the gap on Juventus- but I am sure they've freed up a lot of wages.
They've got a lot of young players that can be brought into the squad, or who are already there, to replace some of them.
To be honest, unless Thohir is going to sink hundreds of millions into the squad this summer I can't see them getting anywhere near Juve.
Congratulations to Juve by the way for getting over 100 points. They've had some incredible title wins in the last three years.

Inter need to invest heavily but also wisely.
Hope there are more "marquee" signings.
Not sure who he is going to go for, what do you think Inter are lacking badly in?
