Oh look, here comes Oscar Wilde.
Maxime Gonalons protracted transfer to Napoli could finally happen at some point next week, according to reports.
The Lyon midfielder has been on the Partenopei’s wishlist for a year now, with dozens of stories saying that he was virtually on his way to Stadio San Paolo last summer and in January.
The move though, never materialised. But that could change next week, the Corriere dello Sport reveal.
The 25-year-old finally seems to have put his foot down, and is willing to force the deal through.
The Ligue 1 outfit want €11m for the France international, an amount Aurelio De Laurentiis is seemingly happy to pay.
The paper believes that negotiations will start at some point in the next few days, with a possible outcome decided by the time Italy play England next weekend.

Napoli would have been better going for Marco Parolo

Going to Lazio apparently, and Candreva now being linked with PSG

Candreva is on the verge of a move to PSG, any interest Napoli have in Lamela is supposedly untrue but Sandro is a possibility. Mascherano has also signed a new contract.
There's also claims Rafa is going to sign Jermaine Pennant.

I do love Pippo tho wether he's ready is an entirley different matter, they'd have been better off with Spalletti I think
Good old Lawro. Brilliant opening line:
How many players in the Italy side would get into our England World Cup first team?
I wouldn’t take any of them. Not even Pirlo. Italy just don’t scare me. Nor do Uruguay.

Such a legendary wum.
I can't wait to hear his condescending and cynical commentary again.
Is he definitely commentating?
