Because I've genuinely found that the people using the Predictions thread are generally on this thread, in other words there's more chance of catching them here!

Henrik, yeah the reason I think it's unfair is because their treble prediction might not have even been correct anyway so it's not like they've definitely lost any points.

I've forgotten my treble a couple of times I think and I wouldn't want an extra try the week after.

Yeah, I disagree with carrying over. Rather spread my bets over two games in the same week, thus must be an advantage,

People get them right quite often I'm talking about turning 1pt into 3pts here- however two players turned 3pts into 9pts this week alone.

Have not been on here in a while but can I say how proud i have been of my beloved Roma of recent weeks. Not only did we overcome Udinese in a game where, they were the better side for the vast majority of it. Yet after an incorrect call when Maicon was sent off, we managed to come back and win it after super-sub Bradley made a top comeback from his injury.

Strootman as well with his 5th (I think) assist this season proving to be a tremendous buy. However I do think people are giving the guy too much praise, even Jake Livermore would look top class if you are playing alongside two of the greatest midfielders in the world in De Rossi and Pjanic.

De Rossi has continued to be his usual great self, and I would say (bold claim) that no deeper-lying midfielder (I know he does go box-to-box) in the world has been better or more consistent over the past 5 or so years.

Also, Pjanic is the in-form playmaker in the world at the moment. Everything he does turns to gold. Part of me thinks this is because playing off of the likes of Totti, which means he is likely to get a lot of ball in good places high up the pitch. However with the talisman injured up top, he still was one of the better players on the pitch on the weekend.

I would also like to say how much better our defence has looked since we sold the overrated sack of sheit Marquinhos for heaps of money. Castan has been in the form of his life but I am still unsure about Burdisso and how they work as a pair. Part of me though Jedvaj would have had a start by now, but obviously not.

Anyway, Forza Roma. Long may our win streak continue

Yeah, but I cant quite work out why he came to us from Udinese from his view point as we were hardly electric last season

Also, funnily enough I actually think we miss Gervinho. He is actually pretty good when given time on the ball, and Pjanic and co are so good at finding him early that he can actually use his pace as an asset. When his back is turned from goal or he has the ball from stagnant he is woeful though!

Portugal vs Sweden- who do you all want to win?

Can't believe either Zlatan or Ronaldo- quite feasibly Zlatan's last chance at a World Cup- will not be there!

Portugal quite simply because Ronaldo is one of, if not, my favourite player(s) of all time. However I would love to see Zlatan at the WC, just not as much.

I was gutted about that draw as I love both players. I'd lean towards Zlatan as it'll be his last World Cup, however, Ronaldo is a better player and Portugal are far more likely to do well in the tournament than Sweden so we'd be losing a potential winner.

I'd have to go with Portugal for the good of the tournament.

Hope they both go out. Surely it is possible?

I admire Sweden, they're usually qualifying or thereabouts anyway- let's be honest all but a few would have directly qualified from a group involving Germany and Trap obviously fooked it up no end for us.

Can't quite get why they qualify continually though- their country is tiny, their league is woeful and the conditions are hardly geared for youngsters playing football all year- yet they always produce players and qualify.

They should just make a separate competition all for Zlatan.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm beginning to half-warm to Ronaldo.

I should be able to stack trebles and make it 3x the treble amount. For example;

3(prediction x 3)

And so on... I'd save up all the trebles each week and then use them all on one game.

That would be 18 trebles excluding this week. Getting the last result right would mean something like 3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3(3x3). I would get a billion points for one match.
