That is seriously tough, especially in Serie A, because there are so many tricky games.

It's very impressive. Milan are facked for CL now.

I always thought they were going to struggle for it- but even I didn't see them doing this poorly. They will struggle to finish above Inter, and there's already rumours of Balotelli wanting out.

Yeah same as that. I did say Inter will have a good season this season.

They've looked very good when I've seen them this year. Lacking that cutting edge in front of goal, though. Even though I am a fan of Palacio.

A bit Liverpool-eque this season, and in fact, a lot of last season.

Why did they loan out Cassano it seemed a really strange decision at the time, and still seems strange? I have never been a massive fan of him, but made no sense to me.

I'm a big fan of Cassano. Him for Pazzini was a joke. Pazzini isn't a patch on Cassano.

I'm surprised they've only sacked one manager this season.

I read that Gatusso was the 28th sacked manager in 11 years. I love Palermo.

Has been for about the last four games, the table would be very tight as a whole if people predicted all the time.

Just seen Milan's next fixture is against Fiorentina at home, the pain may not stop.

Nah Milan will win. Balo will carry them to Europe. The Europa League most likely.

Seriously though it's bad news for them dropping out of the CL. And probably bad news for Serie A overall.

The main reason they lost their 4th CL spot was because they haven't really had a consistent group of teams competing in the CL.

And as the best teams haven't done too well in the latter stages they've not been able to prop up the underachievers and the teams with a lower seeding in the competition (their poor showings in the Europa hasn't helped either, mind).

Serie A is in better shape overall than it has been the last few years, and as a competitive spectacle it's great to see this, however, they really need the big three to be in the CL every year.

They're in danger of falling below Portugal or France let alone catching any of the top 3.

Shame as I'd love to see the 4 teams from Italy in the CL again.
