I'm just glad we play you away first game, before you really 'gel'.

Forest are going to be very strong this year.

your club cant keep there mouths shut regarding transfers though

Ghod, the club are saying very little actually, we've been linked with players by the media but we have not really confirmed any of these. We have only learned of bids for Wilson etc when they have gone in (and once a bid goes in one side or the other will let it become known)

I think we still need a left back and another winger. Badly.

I haven't seen us say anything on transfers, I don't think it's anything to get bent out of shape about either. Gossip is always all around in the close season.

We don't all have the luxury of being in a one horse race where you can pick and choose whoever you want.

Apparently Sky Bet odds for us signing Charlie Austin have gone from 9-1 to odds on favourites.

Not sure what I think about that, it's a lot of money for a bloke who failed a medical.

Squads taking shape alright but still too light on prolific strikers, plenty of non scoring strikers!!

Could be 4-1-3-2:

De Vries / Darlow
Jara, Halford, Hobbs, Cohen/ Lichaj
Gedioura
Paterson/Majewski, Lansbury, Reid/McLaughlin
Henderson/ Miller, Cox

Ideally I'd get someone like Sharp in for Cox or anyone who knows how to score more than 6 in 40 as Cox did last year!! We wont get auotmatics without a prolific scorer

or 4-3-3 maybe:

De Vries / Darlow
Jara, Halford, Hobbs, Cohen/ Lichaj
Majewski, Gedioura, Reid
Paterson, Cox, Miller

Lichaj isn't a left back.

sharp would fit the bill nicely.

Shame king billy dosent seem a fan of wee billy.

I would prefer Mackie or Austin...Billy Sharp had his chance and could have done more to impress imo

No Lansbury Len

pep, with sevice, fitness, and regular starts, none of which he had last season, i think he'd hit 20.

About austin, sky bets have stopped taking bets on it as of half 11 today when we were firm favorites, other have drastically lowered the odds on us getting him.

I think something going on under the radar.

How come if Austin failed a medical for Hull and Boyd didn't, yet Boyd failed the Forest medical how can Austin possibly pass the stricter Forest medical. Something not making sense here.

posted on 23/7/13

Well Boyd failed on an eye test. I'm presuming that's not been the problem with Austin.

Pretty self-explanatory.

Spart..use your sense....Fawaz was getting rid of AM, King Billy lined up...phone call....Fawaz to King Billy. Do you want Boyd Billy? Nope! OK ...we won't sign him. Done. Also Dodgy shoulder is better than being Blind....Make sense now? Anyway why are you signing OAP's? How do they get through their medicals?

Like Pep says it makes perfect sense, the chairman/ Davies didn't want Boyd so jumped on any excuse.

I find it hard to believe it's the shoulder injury that's the problem. Looking at wiki that was from when he was at Swindon, since then he's been through a medical, signed for Burnley and scored goals. I hope it's just that.

Thought it was his knee......I know he's had shoulder injuries/problem.........but I thought he failed at Hull due to his knee?
