I'd like kaka

The feel good factor would be immense.
Kaka is still close enough to PL match git too.

I just read an article about Ronaldinho in the Standard. Mineiro (who he plays for) just overturned a 2-0 first-leg deficit to win the Copa Libertadores.

Can you imagine a year with either buzzing back to anything like their best? With Sandro and Paulinho here to spur them on to try and get in the Brazil 2014 squad

Signing ronaldinho would be off the chain. He's a different class. Let's not fool ourselves by even pretending he wouldn't improve the side massively.

But there is less than zero chance - he's just won the copa libertadores, he's very happy in brazil and he's he wants to be playing there to get in to the brazil team for the world cup (which he's done). At the end of his career he's never going to come to england, sadly.

What is the deal with Kaka anyhow?

I think he has 2yrs left on his RM deal. Do you think they just want rid of his wages and would let him go cheap? Or would they want top dollar?

It's criminal how his star has fallen since 2009

Wasn't it under Carlo Ancelotti at AC Milan he was at his best - so maybe under him again at RM he could shine again?

Agree HRH - at his peak he could have walked in to any team in the world. Does he even get any games these days?

Kaka is still only 31.
But yes, a reunion with Ancelotti could resurrect his form.

14 starts last season apparently.

Hengy - I forgot all about Ancelotti. They have just signed Isco though, and have Ozil too. Can you realistically keep those three happy? All will be desperate to play too.

Perhaps Ozil may be the one to miss out? United?

All the time I see him play for RM as a starter or sub he was always very good, should defiantly played more last season!

But yes would be hard to get in the team with isco now there

Ricky Kaka was heavily linked with a move back to Milan but its stalled. Guess it depends wether Carlito wants him or not

Asking Madrid has Audere Est Facere written all over it.
Make it so, HRH.

I had the pleasure of being sat near the front when England played Brazil in February.

Having been in the stand nearest to where Ronaldinho was playing I can assure you that in spite of his success yesterday, he is finished.

He was doing the old I'll just stop and tie my shoelace trick after 5 minutes

Straight swap kaka for bale?

posted on 25/7/13

Loan swap. Kaka gets us CL.
Madrid finally have Bale in their shirt.
We recall him in the summer.

Sorted.

Either would be more likely to play wide left imo, especially dinho

I don`t think Spurs have room at the moment for geriatrics and poseurs on £150 grand a week.

Ronaldinho plays centrally now because he hasn't got the pace to play like he used to so he just roams behind the striker. Wouldn't take either of them now, it's hard to believe it was 10 years ago this week that barca signed ronaldinho, what a player

He wouldn't be able to play in midfield in a 433, so the only option would be left wing

posted on 25/7/13

True but he'd never track back and defend, ever. The skill and the vision will be the last to go but he won't have the pace to dribble anymore, plus I reckon he's put on about 6 or 7kgs since his barca days. 5'11 and weighs 80kg compared to bale who's about 6'1 and 75kg

Why the bale comparison? Bale would be right wing? Rather him not track back as a left wing than cm
