Well, because he and Reus have fairly similar stats over the past year but one was doing it in a team of stars who were clearly the second best side in their league and one was doing it in a side of not so many stars who were the 5th best side in their league.

And to add to that argument, which is the player who is wanted by Real at a price of 100 million euros and which is the player who no-one has tried to buy this summer?

Don't get me wrong, I really rate Reus but there is a very good argument for Bale to be the better player.

For me Reus is a better player than Bale but not by a very large distance.
Reus is a better dribbler,better weaker foot. However Bale is stronger and faster and better long range shooter
