Can't argue with anything you put, in addition to the signings we made that stand out, another one to look out for is an Algerian winger called Djamel Abdoun who was playing (and starting) champions league games last year for Olympiakos. In terms of the game, Huddersfield certainly have some recognisable names in Hammill and Vaughan but in all honesty (no arrogance intended whatsoever) I believe our first team and squad is much superior and anything less than 3 points would be a disappointment. I notice a lot of Hudd fans expect you to score, this is understandable but by the weekend I believe we will have signed a man-of-the-match player v barca and champions league centre half adding to our impressive defence.

Despite our ability and wide range of creative players, the only way I see a draw a loss is in the failure to convert our chances; assuming we dont sign Austin by saturday, Derbyshire and Cox must step up to the plate.

I honestly don't think we will concede so I am going for a 2-0 win. Derbyshire and Reidy to score.

I am going to be an optimist and go for a 2-2 draw. Realistically I think we will lose so therefore I might aswell be undrealistic and dream of a win/draw.

The idea that Forest shouldnt concede is daft as any team can concede, we even scored when we were being thrashed last time and we were terrible. We have some decent attacking options so we should be a threat but we are vulnerable at the back so are likely to be spending more time in our half blocking shots and trying to minimise damage.

No team want's to lose their opening match and this game has 2-2 written all over it, plus we've visited Forest 21 times since the early 1900's and won 8, lost 8 and drawn 5, so it's "evens stevens" to date, plus I dont want the "Poisoned Dwarf" get the better of our Mark - and he won't.

Forest are going to tonk us' I really hope they don't but I just can't see us being good enough.
Ok we have improved our midfield and forward line but defensively we will remain a shambles as long as you know who is leading the team.

It's a good time to play us. It is difficult to see what our starting line-up will be but if we hit it off straight away we could be a force this season.

We have sold 2000 extra season tickets this season and reduced the away capacity in an attempt to get the home crowd making more noise. The club have even reduced a section of the grounds season ticket price as well. Doing their bit in these hard times.

All in all it is a real good feel factor around the club. Fans all pulling in the same direction and generally pleased with all our new signings.

Prediction : 2-0 Forest (not as comfortable as some would hope but with the team having new players in the side, I'd settle for that)

i'd love us to demolish you guys. But we've had alot of people in, and we always start slow.
