I have never bought that argument, the only thing you could argue is that the Champions League due to its quality is composed mainly of Western Europe, and the Europa League has so much more Eastern teams. That Karagandy team we beat in the Champions League qualifiers- and who actually got into the Europa League- were closer to Beijing than Glasgow.

I think the Europa League needs regionalised, in the qualifiers they do anyway.

What a selfish thing to say anyway. I'd love to have the Ballon D'or in my back pocket and I'm sure I'm not the only one either, it would be incredible. If he doesn't want it, sell it to someone. There MIGHT be someone rich out there willing to pay the price.

I sound very glory-hunter like- we've been promoted from the Segunda and are playing against a team that got into the Champions League, but it's just more how poor we are in the Copa Del Rey. I would love to see us do well in that competition and given that we had just beaten them 5-1 three days ago and that the team we would have played had we beaten them was Santander then it really just hurt tonight.

Still we've had a phenomenal season so far and losing in the Copa Del Rey is something we're used to, I suppose!
