hopefully, after the atleti-farza 2nd leg, a few more players from both sides will be injured
Stil think Man U are favs
Bayern are playing too much tippy tappy stuff
Get a sizeable lead then do your show off skill
Just shoot the blood ball.
They also badly missed Thiago Alcantara.
coolinter
PSG gonna get through you think ?
PSG were fortunate today
Started brightly & ended very brightly
Chelsea were masters of their own downfall.
Still think Chelsea have what it takes to go through but it wiill be tough.
If PSG can get the ball to Lucas Moura ont he counter - Chelsea will be in real trouble cos that boy is the Usain Bolt of football.
Mourinho publically moaning about strikers, why did he buy Willian? It's not like he was needed. He could have spent that on a striker rather than signing someone just to embarrass AVB. This isn't about whether Willian has done well or not, just that they needed a striker more than another player in his position.
Plus why loan out Lukaku?
I don't think PSG are that great though and Chelsea still have a chance.
Chelsea still have a chance because they're still among the best sides in Europe in terms of getting results and of CL credentials, so it would be foolish to consider them done for. That said though, PSG are a good side themselves and I doubt they'll let a 2-goal lead slip. I haven't seen them that much, but considering that Ligue 1 tends to be quite cagey, I think they might well feel at home protecting a lead.
Even Ibra's injury might have a silver lining for PSG if it means playing Cavani more centrally and Moura out wide, as he could be a big headache for Chelsea on the break.
The Nazís left Paris in a better state than Chelsea fans did last night.
That was a good comment pinkerton
arsenal fans would have been much better behaved in paris, i'm sure
We would have spent our time visiting The Louvre or reenacting Jean-Luc Godard films.
We're a cultured bunch.
Valencia with an almighty scrap now.
3-0 down to Basle even without their talismanic star Mohamed Salah - Basle have greatly improved since last season.
Porto beat Sevilla however Porto will ahve to do without Fernando next week.
valencia are out..they have been poor all season (bar the win in the Nou Camp)
sevilla have a chance though...only 1 goal down and playing well at home of late
Juve and benfica look to almost through imo
Sevilla
Valencia - Played behind closed doors too.
Think Porto will also be without Jackson Martinez, but I expect their European experience see them through. Also beat Napoli 1-0 at home in the first leg of the previous round, drew 2-2 away.
Also, it's not just the UK media who are arrogant. Some Radio Marca correspondent in valencia was still fuming this morning because, accordining to him, Basel are a bunch of nobodies. Ffs, don't these amateur journos know Basel have claimed bigger scalps than Valencia's in the past few seasons? They've beaten Chelsea twice this season, knocked out Spurs and Zenit last year, United the year before that, and also beat Bayern at home too before they went out. What a wánker.
On a more positive note, La Liga's UEFA coefficient for this year (19.142 pts) is already higher than that of any other European league in any of the past 5 seasons. In that time, only La Liga itself has done better over a full season, 20.857 pts. in 2011/12.
Good chance we'll beat that mark with at least one and quite likely 2 sides in the CL semis.
Hi IOAG
Diego's goal on Tuesday night .
Madrid not really turned up yet
Goooool Ilarra
Good ball from Bale, Benzema does well to cut in and get a shot, Illarra there to tuck it in
