No because you'll finish above Everton so it'd be at their expense.

Everton and Chelsea trading places was kind of assumed in my comment. My bad.

Di Marzio reckons juve have agreed personal terms with alexis sanchez. Why would Barca sell? Been one of their best players this season imo.

Morning
Anyone else waste 2 hours of their lives last night?

Well I was wondering, do Barca fans resent Cesc because they perceive him as the main reason they lost Thiago? I mean, I remember them a bit angry that they had to spend so much money (huh!) on him when they had Thiago in their team ready to become a regular. Now everytime he fails to make an impact in a big game and they lose, he will always be the one to get slated more than everyone else even if he wasn't the worst player. Not that I feel sorry for him, I am actually enjoying his plight of him "suffering" (http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Trabsfer-news-Suffering-Cesc-Fabregas-wants-to-quit-Arsenal-says-Barcelona-s-Xavi-article765915.html) but I just want to get your opinions and insights into the matter.

Just seen that the transfer ban has been suspended. How lucky are they! Madrid would have walked the league next year if the ban would have stood.

Doubt they will still get a CB though and get a midfielder. Carrick anyone?

Ban was always going to be suspended once they got the appeal in. Remains to be seen whether they will actually enforce it at a later date. I imagine they'll end up getting a one transfer window ban to be served in winter, or none at all.

On Cesc, I don't really know why he irritates the culés so much, but I reckon Barça only have themselves to blame because they've failed to play him in his best position in an attempt to squeeze the last drops from the midfielders they had.

The tempation to persist with their 'tried and trusted' formula was understandable after all the success they'd had, but these generational transitions have to be addressed more decisively. Once Pep left it seemed like they simply went on autopilot thinking that what Pep had done would last forever, when Pep was the exact opposite - he actually started to shake things up too soon with the Ibra/Eto'o deal. Martino was a good opportunity to change things, but it seems they only wanted him to reinstate the high pressing game when they legs or ethos had gone, and they weren't willing to make any significant changes to the tiki-taka system.

United should sign Mbia. He's too world class for la liga.

It's just like watching Mourinho's Real Madrid.

decent result for madrid, maybe should have added a 2nd goal...but then bayern shoulda probably got an away goal

all to play for in munich

Modric >>>>

modric was class

bale's cameo showed how much he can damage bayern's defence..

he'll be fit and ready to play next week, plus CR7 will be more match sharp..if those 2 play from the start..which i expect they will, i'll be v surprised if madrid dont score an away goal

Modders world class

Yeah me too. You could rue those misses, however, especially Ronaldo's - you'd usually bet your house on him scoring them.

Bayern are there for the taking in Germany. Will be a test of your nerve, however, as you've really got a habit of switching off and they could punish you if you do. That's what happened to us.

to be honest after CR7 has missed a few weeks it usually takes him a couple of matches to get his best goal scoring form back

wasnt that surprised he missed that chance tbh

I'd be more worried about Pepe and Ramos costing you, personally.

posted on 23/4/14

yer pepe was v good i thought tonight

ramos was just belting the ball up the pitch like a rugby player alot of the time

posted on 23/4/14

Yeah the pair of them are capable of being brilliant on their day, as tonight showed, but they're just as likely to cost you big that's why I'd be worried.

Ramos is probably auditioning to takeover Alonso's role, you can clearly tell he hates being a defender.

Guardiola, para ti los pases, para nosotros los goles.

bayern passed the ball OVER 700 times

couldnt score though
