He's an odd player Luiz. Exciting and talented but a complete liability sometimes

Yeap, he's quite a wild one but still he would a top addition, I mean let's have a quick look at Barca's defense:

- Pique's game has declined since he's with Shakira
- Puyol is still alright, but injured most of the time
- Mascherano is a imo a good player but he lacks height for a CB
- Bartra has been a disappointment so far in the preseason

Mascherano ISNT a CB as we all know. Think he's beenwasted at Barca the amount he's played there. Do think Barca could do with 2 more CBs. Luiz is one

2 cb's would be ideal, Luiz and maybe one from S. America, Martino knows the market there very well.

I'm one of an almost extinct breed, the Ipswich Town glory hunter.

Seriously though, I've never been to Ipswich or even close in my entire life, but I've supported them for as long as I can remember; I've never supported any other English team.

The only reason I recall for choosing them is that I liked the ring to their name and to Trevor Whymark's, one of their star players. I think one of the key moments might have been when they beat Lazio 4-0 in the UEFA Cup and he scored all four goals.

In the 70s though they were always in the top half of the leage and put in quite a few top 6 finishes. There were some great seasons back then. 1975-76 for example:
Derby pipped us and Liverpool to the title. We finished 3rd, level on points with Liverpool and only 2 points behind the champions. Meantime, Arsenal finished 16th, Spurs 19th (out of 22) just one point off relegation, Chelsea were relegated and United were in division 2.

Off on my holds today to a Greek Island called Kos. Looked up the Resort last night, very relaxing on the beach but a Sporty and Activity based Island with plenty of Sports to have a go at. So I hope it'll be good.
