maybe not Brummie, but I would say its probably the most heartbreaking loss we've had against Liverpool
For me 1 of the worst feelings i have had as a Chelsea fan didn't actually involve us, It was when Liverpool's fans rioting caused English clubs to be thrown out of Europe, if they had won that game and their fans behaved Chelsea would have gone into the following years UEFA cup.
Suarez scoring against us in both matches last season against the run of play was devastating.
....
Against the run of play?
Please don't exaggerate - we all watched the game.
Liverpool should have went on to win the game at SB but Cech made great save in one on one vs Suarez
Oh, and any game we don't beat Aston Vanilla!
metro I was at the game and remember us bossing the game for the majority of it. And the way suarez scored made it even worse.

QPR loss under AVB. utterly disgraceful officiating, yet everyone could only slam us for losing our heads
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Believe it or not this actually makes it worse.
I remember the utd game last year where we battered them with 11 men, 10 men and probably edged it with 9 men and they won it but all was mentioned was the sendings off. Like that QPR game where chris Foy was an absolute mess. I also rmemebered Henry's crafty free kick with the CFC hater Graham Poll in charge.

Brumberry vanilla cake at Aston Market
Only one team carries the name of the City Chaz - and it's not that Claret $hite from the slum down the road from me!
The 4-4 against Villa was a bit gutting a few years back. Boxing Day, early kick off and bitterly hungover. Cheered up after getting to 4-3 after being 2 down and they get a late pen ha ha.
You could feel the collective groan in the Matthew Harding.
I'm normally quite diplomatic Chaz - until it comes to Vanilla!
Don't forget the 1-1 draw vs Wigan in the 07/08 season. A Heskey equaliser deprived us.
If we had won that game and beaten Boltonthree games later in our last match of the season....we would have won the league! With Avram
Also the erm...4-4 draw at WHL lane that season saddened me.
Oh dont forget our first proper home CL match under RA- a 0-2 defeat to a 10 man besitkas.
The night at Moscow. Even loads of s€x didn't help. One of the Worst night of my life.

Loads of s ex, or loads of attempts at s ex?
If you had loads of s ex the night wasn't that bad Unless of course, you were the unlucky girl that had to endure Thudds face and thingy that night!!
As mentioned by Brummie earlier the 0-2 defeat at the Lane by Spurs that relegated us for the first time after the great Osgood etc. days has to be up there. Also being locked out with thousands of others while ours inside were having a bad day at the office didn't help.
The Gnat's co ck of difference in a goalpost that John Terry's penalty could have rebounded in rather than out, and the consequences that followed in Moscow. Man U were up on offer at the time and if it goes in then we would now have 2 European Cups.
The worst day by far and one that I believe is not appreciated on here by many, occurred on a routine Thursday in September 1983. WTF you are probably asking but let me tell you that the day in question was BY FAR the blackest day in our entire history. David Mears quietly and shamefully sold his shares in the Stamford Bridge grounds, to Property Developers SB Properties (later to become Marler Estates) leaving Chelsea with NO ground to play at. It took Bates 7 years of a war of attrition and legal challenge to get the ground back. Bates viewed the betrayal so seriously that he immediately sacked Mears and Viscount Chelsea from the board and blacked their faces out in the programme.
If Bates had lost then you can forget all about Hoddle, Gullit, Vialli, Zola, Di Matteo, Super Cup, loads of FA & Carling Cups, Abramovich, Mourinho, Drogba, League Titles and Munich 2012 etc. etc. None of that would have occurred and we would have been just a nomadic, wandering side like AFC Wimbledon. This is purely the reason that we now have the safeguard of the CPO to prevent anything like that happening again.
Sorry to sound dramatic folks but our great Club would not now be the Global brand it now is, if they had managed to build a load of flats at the Bridge and left us ground sharing at Loftus Road, along with Fulham also, or worse still with no ground at all and being laughed at by the likes of Spurs.
Bradford Park Avenue anyone?
I am content with Griffin park but saying that Bees would have been in premier league then
I don't know but the FA Cup 2002 was my worst. I was so optimistic and we never really showed up. I was too young to properly remember 1994.
Wise and truly spoken words 69
69 you're not Quiggy by any chance?............please say no
Cheers Brum, it puts things into perspective for me.
You can lose an important game and that's all it is - an important game, but once you're identity is permanently facked, then you will never be anything more than mickey mouse.
If Bates had lost then we wouldn't now have ANY gloryhunters - simples.
Chaz - definitely no.
Doovde/TC5/Ensil is probably checking my spelling as we speak.
