Do you think a club will take him on a season long loan if he isn't fit? Do you think he would pass a medical if he was not fit? No chance. But looks like they are taking him so surprise surprise maybe he is suddenly fit.

Lets take a reality check on this guy and Doumbia. Both complete wasters who decided very early on that they didn't like life in England and would have gone back to France 10 months ago if it had been possible.

Solbakken took us 7/8ths of the way to League One and left us with his signings that cost the club £13m and now are worth around a third of that ten months later.

And the astonishing thing is there are people that think we should have given Solbakken three transfer windows so he could have took us to League Two and wasted another £25m

Dj if hes two weeks away from making a return to the first team of course hes fit

Do you really think the club would have made up his calf injury because he didnt want to play.

Similar thread raised a week or so ago.

What a complete waste of money.

Thanks Stale. You screwed Cologne and you've screwed Wolves.

Bang on the money. Disgrace to the game and absolute proof that Stale was a clueless buffoon.

I actually think that statement is very close to the mark, foreigners are temperamental things.

I would add though that it seems despite not appearing often for us they are having no problem getting new clubs.......same cannot be said for several of our players who have had the chance to prove themselves.

Or maybe they grab the one and only offer they get while the better players use all of August to make the best choice

Mike - to be honest, yes

Berra just used an entire season to go nowhere.

Could do with him staying.

I'm not sure dj. Im sure the calf injury was real.

What does seem strange is that ohara, johnson, ward and henry were all put up for sale straight away and are to be sold. Doumbia and boukari have both only gone on season long loans. Maybe an opportunity to get them fit and confidence back playing games (as well as proving if they're any good) all whilst off the wage bill ready to come back next season if we go up?

Surely you all witnessed the injury happen? It was live on TV you conspiracists

I didn't witness an injury that would keep a player out for 10 months bigyam

Mike - I have no idea whether Boukari is any good cause not seen him enough. But I have seen a lot of Doumbia and not seen him have a good game since last September. Maybe I am being unkind, maybe I am being unfair, maybe their attitudes are as suspect as I think they are, but either way I doubt either of them will ever play for Wolves again.

I saw it - the bullet definitely came from the South Bank.

Valenciennes have the option to buy Doumbia at the end of the loan. So its unlikely we are looking to keep him.

Fair enough dj, I just think that it's a lot of effort to go to just because he doesn't want to play for us. He looks good what little I did see of him but not enough to really form an opinion.

The injury was muscle related so it wouldn't look as bad as say a broken leg.

Tam- I didn't know that we obviously don't want doumbia at all then. We shall see what the deal is with boukari. Personally I'd like to see him given a chance to show what he can do for us

I don’t doubt his injury was genuine I just hope that whoever is negotiating the terms of the loan makes sure they can’t send him back and dump him onto our wage bill if/when he breaks down again.

http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/2013/08/15/transfer-rumours-august-15/

Wolves' £3million winger Razak Boukari continues his trial at French club Sochaux this week. The 26-year-old Togo international could then join on a season-long loan.

I didn’t realise this was a trial, thought they’d already taken him on loan.
