That's actually quite a damning set of facts

In my opinion a top manager wins trophies. He's a very good manager but cannot be described as a top one anymore. It's not like they haven't had chances they have choked a few times over the last 8 years.

The way I look at it Chris, in the past 8 years he has had far more at his disposal than Moyes, but not achieved anything significant by comparison. With the means at his disposal v what Moyes had at Everton, I wouldn't even accept that 'he secured regular CL places' as a credible argument.

Moyes is a never will be. Concentrate on your own average manager you deluded Mancs.

There's no doubt in any but the most deluded Arsenal fans mind that over the past few years Wenger has highlighted some of his own shortcomings like never before.

Up to about 2005/2006 you could probably of made a good case for comparing the abilities of Sir Alex and Arsene Wenger, unfortunately that argument no longer holds any water. Arsene has shown incredible stubbornness in regards to spending money, and a lack of adaptation to the modern game.

However, what I must stress is how much he has been hamstrung by the move to The Emirates. Had we not of moved, our current midfield would probably be along the lines of Hazard, Fabregas, Mata and Nasri, combined with RVP up top.

I think this season is his last, best chance to show he's still got the capacity to manage Arsenal FC, and take us forward. Personally, I think he does, but time will tell.
