He's the best forward we've got at the moment. Stupid article.

Fed up of all you guys failing to appreciate Welbeck's genius. Would take him at Arsenal, he'd start over Girroud with ease.
The frustrating thing is that that tap in he scored tonight that anyone could have, will guarantee a few more starts for him.
It's pretty clear that by playing him on the left hand side, Hodgson is moulding him in to the black Zidane.

I don't care if Jordan Rhodes plays for Scotland, he is technically English.
Agree Spurtle. Hodgson just picks players on clubs they play for.

Bit heavy-handed, considering one of England's goalscorers was named 'Lambert' - I mean, you don't get more Scottish than that.

Zaha wasn't that great when he came on either. I don't rate his crossing ability.
Zaha is worse than Welbeck.
I haven't seen enough of Zaha really, but I can't imagine he could be worse.
I'll make a serious post on this wum post.
The following are better strikers: Rooney, Walcott and Sturridge.
The following are better finishers: Lambert, Defoe, Bent and Crouch.
Welbeck is a better player than those finishers and better allround player than Walcott. If he adds finishing, then he will be behind Rooney and Sturridge.
Endland's best strikers are Rooney, Sturridge, Lambert and then Walcott.
I wouldn't even say he's a better all round player than Walcott TBH.
