I'm not a blue but I think Martinez will get you playing some very nice easy-on-the-eye passing football. It's in his DNA.
This is a bit harsh on moyes... But you are mostly right I think we'll score and conceded more, end up with more points than last year and be frustrated and excited by the football Martinez brings.
Moyes did a lot for Everton and despite not winning a trophy he'll be looked on as one of our better managers.
His one big flaw was that he was pretty inflexible with the formation of the team and often would play a player out of position because he wanted to play that player.
You're right about square pegs and round holes under moyes and its good to see Martinez has played more formations in pre season than moyes did in 11 years

I would probably say Moyes is up with Kendal for me as managers go. It's difficult to compare era's...but in a time dominated by money, he did very well with very little.
I am confident in Martinez and his ability. Would like to see more of our youth players used (Barkley / Lundstrum) used and excpect to see this happen. It wont happen right away but I am sure we will play a good progressive passing and pressing game
