Was a load of bollox and shut down within, not hours, but MINUTES of the tax case decision going public.

'oh, it looks as though they actually won'

I think if you write thousands upon thousands of articles on the famous Glasgow rangers the law of averages says you will get one or two right

deBear, I just had a wee google search and found the rangers tax case blog

All entries from November 2012 to October 2011 seem to have dissappeared like

but the exact words used when the tax case decision came was "The tax case result released yesterday afternoon was obviously a surprise."...no $hit sherlock

http://rangerstaxcase.wordpress.com/

The last sentence of the final post tells you all you need to know about this blog

"Hopefully, we will see the result reversed on appeal."
No bias there then eh?
pffft

I seem to remember CQN being first with the news that Craig Whyte had no money and that his purchase of Rangers could only mean bad news for the club. This was within 5 hours of the deal being struck.

It took about 4 months to conclude due dillegence was the mantra, but you knew within hours, why didn't you tell us before that I would have listened

Ginger

That is something to ponder, if this is actually happening

Its whether its actually happening that we question, if it does we will have something to say, but until then...as I was told by many a tim after the whole debate about what was and wasnt sung down at Brentford......its just tinterweb stuff and there is fck all proof in any of it

I hear you Ginge. However, these fckrs are all looking for a get out amd a profit. By selling these assets the company value will plummet and so will the share price. Dont really see institutional investors going down that line.

even as we stand just now and if this latest debacle blows over, i personally dont think Rangers will ever return to the heights we reached in 90's/00's

apart from italian clubs who are sig richer in terms of potential revenue incomes, name me 1 club who had to newco like Rangers and is back where they once were?

look at leeds, their fans claimed cause they had good support, rich history etc they'd be back in epl withing 3 years,,,, still waiting and its looking like they have even longer to

Rangers will get back to SPL, but i cant see us challenging for at least another 10 years.

after the last 2 years of drama at Rangers i wont rule anything out

would the current shareholders vote the sale of ibrox, auchenhowie etc?

SDF - I genuinely don't think we'll ever compete with Celtic again. The rivalry will be greatly diluted over the next few years and our on-field success will be few and far between when we're back in the SPL. If indeed we get there...

Grim times but as long as we've got a team on the park, I'll be there!
