Come on Forest fans, be honest for once

Francis Lee attacked Norman Hunter for which he should be praised and it was in retaliation to the sneaky punch delivered by Hunter. Effectively ended Hunter's reputation as a hard man.

Can't recall us being all that sorry at the demise of Maxwell either. In fact when the club called for a minutes silence the supporters showed what they thought of him. You will have find better examples of that Webbo. We don't idolise our women beaters Webbo.

It was disgusting how that back-street thug and diving cheat Francis Lee viciously attacked the saintly flower-arranger and choirboy Norman Hunter's fists with his face.

At least you are honest and acknowledge you might have some .....

To be fair I don't get too involved with trying to find out who has done what off the pitch.

If they are in hospitals doing charity work or doing things in the community...... it doesn't bother me. They are paid enough. Likewise if someone has beat another guy up and found guilty then let him do the crime.

If they are on the pitch wearing a red shirt giving 100% that is all that matters for me on a match day afternoon

*time .. not crime

So Hiller might have wiped out millions of innocent people but he liked dogs then Webbo. Ever heard of the concept of justice?

posted on 17/8/13

WTF is Hiller?

If you mean hitler ... he didn't play in red on a match day

I'm not condoning anyones actions off the pitch. I go to watch my team in red.

Shilton was one off my favourite players as I'm sure he is to some Derby fans too.
But I don't condone his affair with Tina but I'm glad BC paid good money for him to play between the sticks.

You may be missing my point but all that matters to me is 100% commitment when wearing the shirt on a match day.

I went to derby once, it was pointless. A little like this article. Good luck to the sheep not getting aholed 10-0 today.

Ps. Will Hughes looks like the albino bat off ace Ventura 2. Shikakaaaaa!

Funny Clarky, when we go to Nottingham it is usually worth 3 points.

At least Hughes is human being shaped unlike Reid and Mt goal shy who are more walrus like.

Hmmmmm yes The City Ground, the one away fixture you sheep attend!

No it's a home game for us. At least that is what anyone would think standing outside the ground. The Forest fans are generally in their public library mode. Strange as most of them have never entered a library.

Ilko - you are a funny funny man - why do you care so much?

And backo - wasn't it you that had a dig at me on one of the other threads for bringing up the 28th September? It might not have been. I can hardly tell the difference between you whiny ranters anymore.

As for Billy, I agree, he's yet to succeed at Forest. He did succeed at Derby though. But at Forest, he has bottled it too often for me, so far, which is why I am, and have long been, very sceptical of the man. But, I believe that that could change this season. I'm not getting ahead of myself like some Forest fans though, as I think it's better to be cautious and pleasantly surprised if we do well.

If Billy doesn't get us to the playoffs this year, though, that would be his biggest failure yet. With the squad we've got we should be at least top 5.

Ah Bless you Sheepies, when all looks lost try to make a view from a supposed moral high ground. Come down from there, its a dangerous peak to cling to when the wind inevitably changes.

There is room for you all in The Woodland.

Success is clearly only really going to be judged come June. I think we have to be fair to little old Billy though he has been an astounding success in pulling the club all back together again. Last January we were more chaotic than a free bar in Glasgow.

For which I could tickle his splendid Bagpuss eyebags the wondrous little chap.

With little on the pitch to measure success at Derby by, what would you say Nigel's achievement to date has been? I don't think its too generous to congratulate him on keeping you in the championship to date.

Finally found a picture that sums up the likes of Ilko, iwas, backo, igor and all their friends as they sit through their 90 minutes of turgid football at the 'IKEA Deluxe Ultra Stadion sponsored by Fox Sports and Buy Mobiles' whilst furiously updating the forest score on BBC Sport.

To address the original question. Yes Billy is controversial, yes he made a mistake with Derby in the Premier League, all good managers make mistakes especially when confronted with a new situation.

However he is undeniably a canny and experienced manager who understands this league and understands how to get results. We have performed above expectations with him every year, even last year when we had one of the most horrifically unbalanced and low on confidence teams in the division. Hopefully this trend continues this season. All any football fan can do is hope.

Banter = activities or chat that is playful, intelligent and original.

So, no banter on this thread!

posted on 17/8/13

Banter - a stupid word used by stupid people who try to justify their stupid existence through stupid means.

Not bothering with a match thread today lads? Bit busy on our board to realise. To$$ers
