The ones saying that are probably the ones who were saying it before a ball was kicked: it's optimism.
I don't think any of them have based anything on the first few results: rightly celebrated being 100% in points and goals conceded, but you'd have to be wrong in the head to think it's all over just yet.
...so probably only Toronto Tree and Red Forest Bear
Looking after your lad yesterday then.... and watching Forest on the net <tut> <tut>
Bet you wish your Nige could get them playing like that

LOL, yes you looked good, in that one game, there are plenty more games to come now, you got Watford next, a real test.
And of course, you got the inevitable Billy gets mardy campaign to come yet, which he has done at every club he has ever managed
Yes we are having an awesome start and I'm not saying we will definitely go up but in the 2011-12 season Southampton had a 100% record 3 games in and they went up
Ilk..
I agree Watford is a big test. If you offered the draw right now, I'd take it.
As for Billy (I've never been a fan) I think he has learned a lesson and I doubt he'll get mardy just yet.
The cash is there to back him. The owner, as far as we are told, get's on with him and he has been able to get the players he wants if the selling club agreed to sell.
I've been impressed with our right back. Lichaj and yesterday, Halford proved you can spring a surprise on the rest of us
Have you made these quotes up?
I have not seen anyone saying we will win the league. I have seen a few people saying we could challenge for top two but that's it!
I'm not getting carried away - we three wins from beating three weak teams, two of which were fortuitous to say the least. 5 points wouldn't be a bad start though, and as the saying goes, "every little helps".
As long as we try our best on Sunday I don't mind losing, Watford will be top 3 like last season.

lol, I just hope if he does get mardy this time, you forest fans will realise it and not blame your board again, surely this time it wont happen??

Why are you not a fan of Billy?
Ilko, i am not getting carried away. It's a great start but as King Billy says, there is still a long way and much work to do and he's spot on. We'll take it as it comes and hopefully our strength in depth will help support that push too. Great first game to broadcast to the Middle East though to help push our global brand.
The Sheep, mostly known in Derby but not beyond these shores?
Don't mistake happiness at being top for anything more.

Forest Monkey
They call him Billy the bottler because of what happens at the end of the season not the beginning.

Why are you not a fan of Billy?
-----------------------------------------
He is doing a great job at the moment. I don't have to listen to him spouting off on the radio because he has decided not to aftermatch interviews.
Basically it was during his last reign when all he did was repeat the same drivel week in and week out.
I'm not the Forest version of 666 though.
I have no complaints at all so far even after missing out on the playoffs.
He is a good manager for this league and I know several Derby fans who'd have him back today if given the chance. Only thing is he wouldn't go back. He hates Derby

Damn straight! You ain't got the minerals.
and on a serious note.....
Starting your article today?
58% possession. Is your Nigel clueless?
Nothing wrong with being pleased about our start to the season Ilko.
Mind the gap.
What has 58% possession got to do with anything?
Forest had 58% possession against Bolton and won 3-0.
Derby had 58% possession against Leicester and lost 1-0.
Derby also had more shots overall and more shots on target than Forest, but obviously either didn't create as good goalscoring opportunities OR made a mess of them / didn't hit their shots well enough.
As Greavsie said, it's a funny old game.
Eddie ...chill
I was getting 666 to start his weekly article
A team can batter you and you could end up with one breakaway and win it. I know that, you know that. 666 doesn't like your Nige

Aye, and on Boxing Day 2004, Indonesia got a bit damp.
I'm out of the office today so my usual incisive comment shall have to wait.
