We heard a rumour that one of our old Engineers had passed away.

It annoyed us that we had not been informed (wierd sister, i think) and thus could not pay our respects.

I phoned the hatches, matches and dispatches folk and confirmed when the old gent had been cremated.

It allowed me to inform the our site (like usually happens) and let those that knew him well know that he had passed.

They were extremely helpful and understanding

Reading through this thread us better than watching an episode of Columbo. Kinky came across as a nice guy in any interactions I had with him. Didn't really have an pinion on jungle as I haven't been on here much recently. Not nice for anyone who was sucked in, but a decent post and nice sentiments from bubble hoe the guy learns from this and is able to sort himself out.
