Don't need eriksen, we need a creative left midfielder, Willian would have been perfect

remember when benteke to spurs was a done deal?

It's SSN understanding something again without any substantiating evidence. The telling point was the speed they reopened betting after the news flash.

If he comes to us great, if he doesn't then we have money to spend on someone who actually wants to play for us..he is overpriced anyway so it may be a good thing

Lets be honest lads, no one had heard of Willian until last week. 99% of people on here have had to look him up on Google to see who he is. I did.

We are not talking about a Neymar here.

To be fair, SSN and BBC reporters are saying it. Wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea offer Mata for Rooney.

@dimarzio: While @SpursOfficial and #Anzhi were discussing about details (5% of solidarity contribution), abramovich called kerimov and offered €37M.

is this a joke? you are probably the only person on ja606 who doesnt know who he was? cant you remember him giving chelsea the run around in the CL? and barca the run around the season before?

plus spurs have been linked with him for ages cos of him and AVB getting on well.

Apparantly from what the rumours are, spurs were literally putting pen to paper on the willian deal when that russian crock gangster f uck called Anzhi up and offered 37 million. Sounds a bit surreal but probably true knowing chelsea.

Sky have now backtracked and are saying he is still in talks with spurs.

Spurs fans coming on saying "we don't want Willian anyway" are talking a load of bullsh it. I will be gutted if we miss out on him to those w ankers chelsea especially as Bale is almost gone. Still rate Lamela higher but i wanted both

don.. just had a look on the chelsea board and they are not entirely convinced that chelsea are in for him.. so lets see...

vidicschin says none of us knew who willian was until last week though

most of us have known about him for at least 2 years.. certainly at least a year before he left shaktar.

If he's offered more he's welcome to him...£30m was already pushing it

Mata is joining us as part of the Rooney deal, so they need a replacement

And there's always the possibility it's just Anzhi trying to get a few more quid out of us

I'd rather we signed Lamela but we need Willian more this season

its what happens guys, no point going on about Chelsea, im sure we have done it to teams and will do again, just football. Still done good business, I like willian and think he will set the pl alight whoever he goes to
