What are your thoughts on all of this? Do you really need Willian? Especially if it's gonna push Mata out of the way

SSN understands 500 London grannies have just gone on the game in anticipation of Wayne Rooney joining Chelsea

Haven't seen Willian play, but he will have to be absolutely fantastic to push Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Ramires and Lampard out of the midfield.

Bookies trying to make some easy money?

posted on 22/8/13

I wonder how much money Sky have just made out of betting on the rumour they created?

Chelsea have been backed in to 1/2 favourites to sign Willian at the expense of Tottenham after Sky Bet re-opened betting on the Brazilian's future.

The online bookmaker suspended the market earlier this week as the Anzhi winger completed a medical at White Hart Lane, but he's now 3/1 to move there.

However, with Tottenham failing to confirm that the deal had been completed, reports emerged on Thursday evening that Chelsea were now in advanced talks with the player.

Sky Bet's Chris Spicer said: "When we got wind of the news we immediately re-opened betting with Chelsea at 2/1 and Tottenham the even-money favourites.

"However, as the story developed new betting patterns followed and the Blues were quickly backed into heavy favourites to land the in-demand Anzhi star."

Does look well dodgy, the murky world of the transfer window, added to that the amount of papers that just copy and pase of the internet. Its just poor!!

Yet another reason to avoid Sky Sports subscriptions...I'd prefer a dodgy link than giving money to these feckers

Odd how players / managers have restrictions on gambling but a 'legit' broadcaster can manipulate 'news' for a betting partner.

Oh this would be funny, but don't need him, but I feel he would be better than mata,

Sometimes you jus have to trust the managers judgement
