Late bid for Sturridge?

No thanks, we're happy with him, you can keep Torres

No, no, no, no that can't.

Seeing him knock in the goals for Liverpool really makes me wonder why on earth some fans thought selling him for 12million and getting Ba for 8 was a good bit of business during the January window. For all his faults(namely selfishness which he's managed to cut out to some extent at Pool), Sturridge is a better striker than all of our current options. He's got most of the abilities we've been looking for:

-Links well with the attacking midfield
-Can hold up the ball relatively well
-Poacher when in the box
-Hell, he would even be the perfect striker to pair with Lukaku

Don't you know he is selfish; he shoots; he is not blonde; he can't link up play; hasn't played up top on his own; can't hold up the ball; doesn't pass.

Stupid move by the club, will bang in 20 goals easily for them this season. Would have done so for us if we gave him the chance up front, mind you his goals return were better than all the other strikers in our squad the season he played RW for half a season

Mistake by the club to sell him.

6 points in 2 games Chelseamf. Thanks for Studge BTW, if Mata is going spare we'll take him as well. You can keep Torres though we don't want him.

Didn't Chelsea play him mostly as a winger?

Was played as a winger to accommodate the expensive mistake called Torres.

It was so obvious a massive mistake to sell him and it still is.....................

We sell him to Liverpool and got Torres in return......

Yes Spurtle. His actual goals/minutes ratio for Chelsea is one every 180 minutes roughly, or 1 every 2 games. That's ignoring Bolton. Very impressive considering he arrived when he was 19 and spent the majority of his time on the wing.
