Ok i have been watching all this very patiently for the last few weeks and restricted on making comments to see if there is any developments. I certainly think that Sneijder, an established top player at the height of his powers, would be a great asset to United - but I don't believe he is crucial.
I have great faith in the future of Tom Cleverly, even more faith in SAF; I suspect (and hope) that Anderson will kick on this year, and I really see no improvements in our rivals which would indicate that our current squad is insufficient.

I think perhaps part of my coolness regarding Sneijder stems from the fact that he appears to be a rather arrogant and unlikeable individual. Hopefully his apparent new-found religion and his having to compromise to join Utd will have given him a little humility.
