They are crap. You'll be relegated.
Did i have you at 'huge widening gap'?
They both look superb talents on Youtube, and exactly what our squad is missing
Lamela is potentially world-class, eriksen has never impressed me can't see him doing well in epl

Yeah, You Tube - the balanced staple of the very best scouts.
I could make a Gary Doherty look like fuçkin' Messi on there.
Does anyone actually know anything about these players other than the occasional look at you tube?

I haven't seen very much of either but just the fact Lamela is young and Argentinian excites me already.
Number-Eight (U9729)
There's nothing worse than a Pjanic buy anyway. The boy's cursed with a name like that. One bad game and the press are gonna go pun crazy.
Not sure if it's a lot to go on but these two seem to have pushed a number of g00ns over the edge
I've watched Lamela a few times for Roma in La Liga games...always stood out as a class act. You really get the impression he has the ability to be something very special.
Eriksen I've seen more in CL, he has talent but I always had the impression he needs a bit of protection to get the best out of him. Looking at our midfield now, it could be perfect for him to really thrive.
Eriksen - looks good, reminds me of a lesser version of ozil....
Lamela - never seen him play but meant to have huge potential. Been dubbed 'the Argentinian ronaldo' due to his playing style and ability (hopefully not for the tantrums and being in denial about playing 2nd fiddle to someone better than him...)

seen more of eriksen than lamela.
eriksen has been around the european scene for much longer. i dont watch the dutch league but have seen him for a while in the CL and also in the euros with Denmark, where he failed to impress.
however he is Ajax's best player by a mile... and although i do not think he is amazing, for the money speaking about he would at the very worst be a good financial investment (cheap due to his contract situation), but he is definately creative, and deadly on set pieces.
the last person that came from Ajax was Verts, and he has been a success (still think spurs fans overate him, but he is definately a good player).
ajax dont breed mugs... you know anyone coming from ajax is at the very least a technically accomplished footballer.

apparantly on twitter the gooooners are going mad calling wenger "c unt" and everything
If we were to sign both, I'd wonder what team we'd play. I'm quite pleased with the way the new players are coming along and that may as well include Townsend. Someone's not gonna get much of a look in you'd think?
Townsend will get plenty of game time IMO. lennon and siggy are the two that need to be most concerned.. but if we progress in cups they will get lots of football

Gooners are still trying to delude themselves and make themselves feel better by pretending our signings won't improve us massively
