Yeah let's kick out of the teams from the weaker leagues and let European football outside the top leagues go to ruin because they don't have as much money as the teams from the big leagues.
--
They should still enter the qualifying rounds. However there should be more rounds so more teams from the best leagues can have an opportunity.

Tweedy- probably none. The goalkeeper maybe.

So what we exist on £1m TV money, so we obviously cannot get a lot of players that are capable of competing at the level Arsenal are at.

Scotland has as many European Cups as France, should they be kicked out too?

Lets be fair, we push above our weight in Europe.

English teams ( with their financial backing ) underachieve

French teams are more competitive, Lyon, Bordeaux, Marseille and now PSG have all gone far int he competition and thus boost Ligue 1's UEFA coefficient, so no.

Celtic desperately need Rangers (or another SPL team to step up) and actually start competing in the Europa. Otherwise it will get harder every season for them to progress.

Ballacks.

Just because they aren't as good doesn't mean 5th placed teams should get more of an opportunity.

How are these sides supposed to catch up if their chances of qualifying are further hindered by having more richer teams from the big leagues in there?

You are talking nonsense, you are basically saying smaller countries do not deserve to have football clubs playing in a competition their players earned.

It's not invitation only, it's earned. Go ask Mr Murdoch for your Super League.

It's called the CHAMPIONS League, not the Richest Clubs in a few Leagues League.

Celtic have every right to be there.

Put this on the Spurs board

DJ.

It would seem that way, but not really because we cannot really start any earlier. The only round before it is for the likes of Northern Ireland and Lichtenstein etc, so we cannot go any worse.

We need Rangers to get more players though.

Look at Portugal, hardly a massive country yet they produce many world class players, and their clubs do relatively well in Europe. Small countries ought to focus on youth development to make it into the CL.

==========
It is called the CHAMPIONS league as it is a competition to find the best team in Europe, aka the Champions of Europe.
It is not called the CHAMPIONS league because it is a competition in which domestic title holders compete.

Celtic's average age was 23. Misinformed again.
