Surely his wages must be astronomical?
I read about 115,000/week
Donuts
i guessed that
must have been loads he cut though..
£250'000 a week lost
I think Anzhi have paid him quite a bit to leave anyway so he's probably not losing out on much
Anyone else think the PL looks really strong this year (arsenal aside)
I am sure he will adjust his lifestyle accordingly to survive on such a wage
Jamie Redknapp can fook off, why do Sky always involve him for these things!
..............................
I was thinking that when they introduced Redknapp and Nicholas, two players who made zero impact in the CL or old European Cup
Dwights there though
Honestly, if you were a footballer why waste your career in Anzhi for mega-bucks when you could be competing in Italy, Spain, England or something.
Yes, I would leave my job for more money, but if I was on even £20,000 a week- money would not bother me to the extent that I'd ruin my career.

getting him for free and seem to paying him 7 m for the year, not a bad short term fix in my opinion, think he will do well
Eto hasn't ruined his career. He had nothing left to prove when he left for Russia. Hes proved himself in Spain with both real and barca and in Italy with inter winning everything in sight.

5000 to 1 on the draw being identical to the rehearsal.
Whatever the figures, he's taken roughly a 70% wage cut.
5000 to 1 on the draw being identical to the rehearsal.

That was for the knockout. Must be more for the groups?
Diggler, it was last time
Wonder what the odds were that the rehearsal and the real last 16 draw last year would be the same
What were the chances? One in 2,160,900 actually!

Henrik,
You'd be a mercenary too if you knew that an evening with Shawcross could end your career in an instant.
ewww, I just linked to the mail
Eto'o didn't ruin his career
He won numerous trophies with Barca, and a treble with Inter. I don't blame him for taking one last huge pay packet from a bunch of mugs.
