They need to be organised though. It'd be like us signing Samba and Cahill and having 6 centre-backs. Doesn't matter if we can't organise them properly.

In short, do not let the Arsenal defensive coaching team co-ordinate the defence of London.

=============================

That leaves another part of (whatever place they took the extra police from) left guarded.

There's only one man who knows how to start and therefore stop a rebellion...

Seen that poor bloke with his head bleeding, being lifted to his feet before being mugged.

F__KERS!

Anyone know if he was badly injured? Feel sorry for cops. Critisized for every decision they make.

Lexington - Yh that was inhuman. Wtf goes through their heads?!

I don't blame the cops. They're doing the best they can under orders. (they're only human afterall) It's up to Cameron to get tough with these sob's.

I'm no stranger to riots, I was at one in the early 90s, and on top of that I've been there when rival firms have kicked off. In those cases there were specific targets, outlets, and there was a line that wasn't crossed.

But these riots are scary to me, because they're indiscriminate, sporadic, have no rationale behind them, and there appears to be no depths to which these lowlifes won't sink.

Shame the police can't somehow overload Twitter or whatever it is they're using to co-ordinate the looting... cause that's mainly what this is about now.

Looting, rather than any rioting.

have no rationale behind them

That's what Dave will say, you're right. But he's just trying to put up a smokescreen. How can thousands of disenfranchised youths going nuts on the streets and smashing up shops NOT be political? What's created an environment where people think this is an ok thing to do?

Noobz like Cameron (and Blair before him) have been robbing their neighbours, pooping on their own doorsteps and then robbing people for good measure for years but they get to make the laws so its ok for them. It's got 10 times worse in the last 14 months since the bullingdon club somehow weaseled their way back in though.

Apart from anything else, smashing your way in somewhere you've no right to be just so you can get your mitts on a certain product isn't excactly a novel idea, is it? I wonder if people consider the invasion of Iraq or air strikes on Libya to be just mindless thuggery or are these 'poilitical'?

It doesn't have to be political, it can just be symptomatic of a tipping point whereby we've simply lost the ability to control of the natural number of unsavoury elements in our society.

It never does. As with the 1980 riots, it's happening a year after they've left power having destroyed the economy. They have a knack for it.

Why don't the police and authoriyies take over Twitter and Facebook and set up bogus meetings for the rioters in areas previosuly set up by the police to contain and arrest them (after giving them a decent kicking of course)? Saves chasing them round towns and cities.

lobsters will one day rule the world (U4098) - The country's got 10 times worse in the last 14 months since that Weasel with his public school grid got into power and you know it. Sadly, self centered, Thatcher style Britain was never totally eradicated, and this is the result. Never mind electoral reform, some should be made to sit a political intelgence test before they're even issued a voting card.
