Have they wasted the money? Erm, the season has just started, how can we form an opinion yet?
Lamela scored 1 in 3 and he's a winger
I think it's fair to say that they've all been given enough time and they just aren't putting up the numbers needed. Sell in January.
What a moronic article. A well deserved 1*

yeah defo bin them, they have had over 4 hours of football in a Tottenham shirt now and obv not up to it
wasted it a bit... not all of them will perform as expected
the signings were as much for the PR boost as they were for the teams quality
it will all depend on where they finish this season
FFS what sort of clown is the OP. After 3 games Bale was useless as well, and Spurs just sold him for £85 million.
They have signed a load of over priced players in the hope a couple come good. If Lamela doesnt come good they are fecked.
Excellent well thought our article
Your view on Eriksen was particularly insightful.
Please enlighten me more on these players
Well - they are not worth £100m - simples.
This is barely even worth a comment tbh

Idiotic article. 3 PL games in and you're moaning about the players we've signed, in our biggest ever spending spree (that will most probably not be broken short of selling another Bale and getting CL football combined), because the best team won today and we've sold our best player? It's not FIFA mate You should trust Levy as a chairman after these signings and the way he has dealt with the Bale issue. Would the Arsenal board have done the same? Marathon not a sprint.
This article is shittttttttttteeeeeeeeeee !!

Wenger would not spend £26m on a player worth £10m imo
he's made some fair points
Wenger would not spend £10m on a player worth £26m either though

Wum. Ignore him
How are you judging Soldado's merit based on 4 appearances when he's scored in 3 of those? Surely you realise, off the back of the Bale deal, that's it's not just the players valuation, but what he is worth to the club. Was 14m up front with 12m across 4 years. He's def a £15m player and would certainly pay 3m a year to keep him. Iz u dumb?
Paulinho £17.5m. Not a bad player, but not brilliant.
Chadli £7m - Not as good as Lennon,
Soldado £26m - Takes penalties but seems to do very little else
Capoue £9.3m - Probably the best signing as seemed to have an engine on him but now injured.
Chiriches €9.5 - Cover for Vertonghen just not half as good
Lamela £25.8m+ for an attacking midfielder that scored 1 in 5 for Roma.
Eriksen £11.5m. Not seen him play yet.
-----------------------------------------------
I have no idea if this guy is a wum or not but he's not far from the truth. The only ones that are unfair are the Lamela are Chiriches critiques. I came on here last week saying I didn't think Chadli was up to much and I got shot down by some self-righteous little $od who said that anyone that had seen Chadli play wouldn't share my opinion. Well, I've seen him play. Jamie Carragher has seen him play. We both have the same opinion.
I'm sure everyone is gonna bang on about 'fridgeboy the pessimist' but how about 'fridgeboy the realist'. My fear, and i'm sure I'm not alone (some are thinking it but never say it), is that we've sold a team that got us 5th and we've bought a team that can get us 5th. Simple as that. The only reason fans are getting carried away is because we've signed these players all at once. In the space of a little over a year, we've seen Modric, VDV and Bale leave the club. You can't possibly tell me that we're title contenders just because we've got Lamela, Eriksen and Soldado (The others for me are squad players) when we weren't when we had the previous 3 in the squad. We've not made progress, we've just taken a risk trying to replace genuinely top, top talent. I really hope we haven't fuçked up royally here by signing all these players.
I signed in just to give this 1 star. You are an embarrassment!
Well said fridgeboy - I did write "These signings might come good, but do you think you paid over the odds for most of them?" as a footnote which seems to have been ignored by most that can't be bothered to debate
