"Paulinho £17.5m. Not a bad player, but not brilliant."

Time will tell. Looks good but was shít today.

"Chadli £7m - Not as good as Lennon,"

Seems decent for his price.

"Soldado £26m - Takes penalties but seems to do very little else"

Class striker, no shame in being stuck in Kos' pocket. He will score for fun.

"Capoue £9.3m - Probably the best signing as seemed to have an engine on him but now injured."

He is crap imo.

"Chiriches €9.5 - Cover for Vertonghen just not half as good"

Don't know anything about him.

"Lamela £25.8m+ for an attacking midfielder that scored 1 in 5 for Roma."

He is going to be a star.

"Eriksen £11.5m. Not seen him play yet."

Career has stalled a bit but for £11.5M, definitely worth a gamble.

In my opinion, Spurs have invested the Bale money very wisely. The irony is that Madrid seem to be funding it by selling to Arsenal which makes things look worse.

Indeed - we shall see.

Do any of you think you've wasted the Bale money - not that difficult a question is it - just a yes or no will do

I can see why what you said might have pi$$ed a few fans off, cos it's clear you're looking to rub people up the wrong way, but I don't think you're entirely wrong, and it's really worrying.

What worries me most is the smirk Wenger gave to the interviewer after the match when questioned about signings. He's clearly got something massive up his sleeve, the rumour going around is that it's Ozil, who for me, isn't a gamble. Top, top class. Usually i'm excited on deadline day, this time i'm scared.

No you havent. I still rate your the squad and the depths in the team very highly. You will be there. No doubt. Very encouring what I saw from Spurs. Believe me just need a bit time to get together.

Tbf OP, this is posted before the transfer window has even ended. By your theory, Bony, Navas and Osvaldo have all been poor signings as well!
