To leave us with the inexperienced (but impressive) Rose and Naughton (who I do not rate as a LB), along with JV who prefers to play CB, is madness imo.

It's not "personal", he just doesn't rate him. Many on here don't.

Chronic I'm with you on the Rose issue. Can't believe we have a team with the quality of Lloris, Vertonghen, Sandro, Paulinho, Lamela, Eriksen and Soldado - yet we have danny rose starting at left back.

Yeah he's English and quick but defensively positioning is poor, gives away 5yd passes and his decision making on who to pass to and when is rubbish too

Scored some screamers for us and seems like he really does care about the club...

Seriously annoyed with this. Benny was injured for the first half of last year and had a poor season. He's still far better than Rose.

The way AVB has frozen him out is very poor indeed.

What did you want him to do?? Remain as spurs stay frozen out for the rest of the season...

I'm sure if suitable offers from other PL teams had come along he'd have taken it...

As is, he showing way more ambition than say Ade. He's accepted he's faith at spurs and moving on with his career

Trouble is, if he doesn't rate him, and more importantly doesn't see him fitting into a high line defence, what else can he do but let him go?

Benny's a legend for me, one of the most likeable players we've had in a long time...has his good days and bad ones but always good entertainment.

FFS sometimes I wonder who the deck is making these decisions. Utter crazy red from spurs. BAE has his faults but he is the best left back at spurs.
