Benny will be in for some serious shocks when he visits the outer reaches of the championship

If we get rid of Ade with no replacement I will be furious and all the good work of the window will be undermined.

"Even in the Championship you can always rely on Harry Redknapp for a late one. Benoit Assou-Ekotto currently signing forms through Redknapp's car window."

Hahaha, Even Lineker mocking Harry's car window appearances

danny rose as our number 1 left back is a shambles in itself.

Benny is our best LB in a traditional defensive formation, but he struggled last year when asked to play a high line. That might have been in part due to his injury but its obvious AVB doesn't feel he's our best LB going forward.

I'm surprised we haven't picked up a new LB, I get the feeling Madrid pulled a fast one there with Coentrao and we didn't have a back up.

Good point VG but where has Benny been for the last few months? (Or matches?) Coentrao seems to be almost the last piece in the jigsaw. Come on Mr Levy - sort it!! I thought he might have been part of the Bale deal.

If rumours are to be believed its a combination of not being rated by AVB, still carrying injuries and a bad attitude. Just rumours, but I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't something in it.

Bye bye! Don't rate him and I never have. Too unreliable and prone to stupidity like hoofing the ball to Defoe when he's being monstered by massive cb's

Lion

I remember him working very well with Gareth Bale. Putting very good through balls in and also defending well. Admittedly he was prone to the odd error. But if you don't rate him - History! Who am I to argue?
