I just spat at my screen because of you.
Is Zidane overrated?

No.
Whatever you've been smoking tonight you need to stop
Good article, Saint. He's hyped up because he was class at two tournaments for France. At club level he's not really close to Messi and Ronaldo.
Thank god someone finally came out and said it!
I think he's underated if anything.
Get off the weed dude!
Weed doesn't cause you to believe such a stupid thing, hes definitely using crack.
Darren in my eyes Zidane peaked at Juventus.
His peak was great no doubt but I honestly felt at the time that his replacement, that boy Nedved was well... better.
blasphemous I know but that was my true feelings at the time.
mock the gods at your peril
probably the most all round footballer that ever played, they called him the man with hands for feet, stood out in a team full of superstars, won the world cup and euro's, champions leagues, league titles etc etc if he is overrated then England have never ever had a world class player
Nedved in the 00s was a truly incredible player to be honest, its no shame being thought of as inferior to that man.
Zidane at Juve was second to none. I don't think Ive ever seen a better midfield player.
Zidane was technically a magician, but he's never matched Ronaldo, Messi of Xavi in terms of influence, productivity and consistency over such a long space of time.
In their prime none of these players ever suffered the same dips in form that Zidane did.
This is why he's overrated. Much like Iniesta. Who is of course an immense player but because he's easy on the eye people rave about him playing amazingly even though he's not having a massive influence over a match.

I agree, Zidane was better at Juve.
your eyes are in serious need of surgery
Nedved 01-03 is one of the greatest players of all time. I've never seen a player dominate game after game with such consistency.
Zidane was never like that. His replacement truly surpassed him.
Juve fans would back me up here if there was any.
Nedved was one of the most underrated players in history, to be fair.
Was good on his day, but so is Adel Taarabt
