At the moment we have to compensate all our injuries and ....we did it well so far. Lets stay with both feet on the ground and go game by game. To win a cup you need also a bit of luck with the draws you get and a big strong healthy team and of course luck.

We need to carry on investing in the squad and hope we get a bit of luck and win a cup.

As the op stated, lets enjoy it for the time being and see where it takes us
It means this is the beginning of something special, bringing in ozil has given us a new presence in the transfer window, we already have a good core in the squad, not too far off being title winners.
Even Chelsea and City with all their millions did not make up those gaps immediately so why are people assuming Arsenal are going to?

I hear this a lot from Arsenal fans and it does make me laugh. You're still only an injury or 2 away from the quality you had last season which got you 4th. You went on a very good run at the end of last season when you were knocked out of the CL. When CL comes around again your squad and its depth will be heavily tested.
It doesn't matter Swarley, when Wenger was winning leagues for us, we only had United as a serious contender. There is far more competition and money in our league now and we have never seriously looked like winning the title apart from 07/08, if we were to have a season similar to that I would be over the moon.
Spurs fans are talking up the title too. They're the delusional ones if you ask me

Fair enough but I just haven't been impressed with the two mercenary clubs and United, and I reckon it COULD take a season for those managers to get running. And definitely see Moureen flopping bad now he has all these creative players to play.
Yep they seem to be trying their best to eclipse our delusion. Might aswell, it's the only thing they have a chance of doing better than us.
Why would Spurs fans be any more delusional than Arsenal fans talking it up? The two teams were only separated by 1 point last season, and to be fair Spurs have spent more money and increased their quality more than Arsenal.

I don't think any of the 'top 3' are anything special but they are still teams littered with winners who have been there and done it all on numerous occasions, they also have far better squad depth than us and have shown over the years that they can compete for numerous trophies at once. Like I said, if we run them close I will be delighted but Rome wasn't built in a day, we need a lot of new players to come in and we need them all to gel as a team.

Because you didn't have the bottle to hold massive leads over dreadful Arsenal teams in the last 2 seasons yet seem to think you can not only do that but fend off Chelsea and the Mancs.

Both Spurs and Arsenal have been very similar in quality the last 2 seasons, however they've gone about finishing the ends of those seasons. I don't see how there's a particular reason to think one has decidedly more chance of winning the league than another.
