Creating chances is the bigger problem
Becchio will not create any chances
And bates spent the money on capital expenditure, should it affect the player budget, not for me, only affect cash flow.
"And bates spent the money on capital expenditure, should it affect the player budget, not for me, only affect cash flow."
Exactly how Kenneth put it
Hi Liw hope your doing well, haven't spoke in ages.
I see what you are saying, but I think they have been swapping from one pot for another to maintain working capital (only guessing mind, given the lack of player purchases suggests that budgets been blown on other things ie wages etc).
Would you have any suggestions as to who the club should go after?
No thank you
Can't create chances, relies on service and penalties.
Not pacy, can't link up.
Am very well, I hope you and your family are too
It's tough because apart from the odd one, most of the players are either not good enough for their club or a youngster trying to gain experience
Either one is not good for the long term for the club.
Can we get either a Rowe or Burke, I don't know
But this current team is garbage to be honest

Regardless of his faults, if you offered me Becchio, I would bite off your hand.
Why?
Because he is a better option than Hunt or Smith.

Why oh why would we need someone who scores goals...?
What we need is someone who can trap a ball.
Yorkie
Is because he better than what we got, really a good enough reason to get him
Shouldn't we be aiming for someone to get us promoted
He scored 20 by NEW YEAR!!! He can finish, in Graysons passing team he was great, in NWs hoofball he converted. I'd love him back
Would most likely take him until Christmas to get his match fitness and 'touch' back!
What we don't need right now would be a 'barn door Becchio'!!
Yes Eric.Trap it in the nets like Becchio was doing.....All these so called footballers we have creating lots of chances but can't score......Yet Becchio can't trap a football but can score......I know which I would prefer just now,at the end of the game it's the goals that add up,not how many balls you have trapped......The only balls I would have liked to have seen trapped, was Warnocks, for not keeping him settled at the club untill we found a better player than the ones we have now.....We would have been happy for one of those Becchio tap ins yesterday. Some of this lot we have now, have been missing too many sitters in front of goal.
Kev
Which games you been too ????
We've barely created anything all season
There seams to be a trend going where people who hardly go, want becchio back and them who went regular, don't
Strange eh
I bet nowich get Sam part of the deal to
Would not surprise me one bit.

Would not surprise me at all.
Liw.We were not creating too many chances when Becchio was playing for us but he could still score goals from the chances we had. This lot are missing in front of goal and are making Billy Painter look prolific.
Kev
Your talking like becchio is some goal machine
15, 15, 19, 11, 16
That's is league goals in each season he was with us
He is not the answer to our problems.
He gives you nothing if he doesn't score, you can't do well if your striker gives you nothing 2 out of every 3 games
Norwich are struggling for goals, why aren't they playing him, and before you say it's a step up, it is but he's also playing with Better players

Some folk cannot see the wood for the trees. Mainly because they are as thick as planks themselves. And a plank with blinkers on is the worst type.
Remember you are arguing with a fellow that starts a thread asking everyone to get behind McDermott then a short few hours later is passing comments that the manager might not be here next season...!
I have a pet wasp that has more footballing knowledge than that buffoon.
Any fool can see we need a striker of Becchio's standard, whether it is physically him or not, it is the style of striker we need. You know the type, the one that traps a ball in a net...!!!
<ok
The fact that Becchio score 19 goals by January - Doesn't make him a twenty goal a season player!!
I agree he isn't the answer.
My point wasn't to say I want him back, more to stress he is better than what we have.
Personally, I think there is better out there. If a loan, would love a big powerhouse who can bring people into the game like Cameron Jerome.

I made that comment because I think the owners might not give him time. Not my view that he shouldn't be
Are you too stupid too realise that.
Nah your just a c u nt,
Eric ...Liw.I am not saying he is or was a fantastic footballer or that he is a long term answer for us.I was just saying we should have done everything we could to keep him untill a better player came along....It's not rocket science, that we are missing his goals. If a player came available just now and we were guarateed 19 goals by January from him,we would all be shouting snap him up and play him whether he can trap a football or not.
Becchio,no thanks.
The grass was greener at narwich,he can stay there.

It wasn't selling becchio that was the mistake, it wasn't replacing him properly
