Yes, we will.

We're 3 pts behind the team that's still favourites to win the title.

We'll get top 4. Our form simply has to improve over next 3 months and then the club have to go out in January and make a bloody statement or three.

We had a disastrous transfer window, have been playing abysmally and have already lost key games (City, Pool).

Before the season started I wrote on the back of an envelope my top 4;

Chelsea
City
Arsenal
Tottenham

Id be worried if we dont get any points of rivals, 5 now it seems but all it will take is for us to go on a good run of results and we will end up making articles about outr title defense let alone top 4.

YES.Definitely we will finish top4
We have too much talent at our disposal to do that no matter who the manager is.
If RVP stays fit like last season top 4 is comfortably ours.
People underestimate us.
Outside of Messi and Ronaldo no attacker is better than him.
Plus we have Rooney and Hernandez to score.

Hahaha you think you have the best attack behind Ronaldo and messi.....

Come on mate, RVP is the wrong side of 30 and Rooney wants out, you haven't scored from open play since the first game, that's 5 games your goal difference it 0..I think this doesn't seem like a top 4 outfit never mind the league.

We have been a mid table team for the best part of 3 years and this is how we were when it first happend to us!

Name me a better striker than RVP

With Spurs and liverpool solely targeting on the league. We have to keep up or be left behind

Hate to agree RedMen7, we will miss Fergie more than we like to admit.

We wont be finishing outside top4. guaranteed. Too much talent amd wining mentality at the club.

you lot are so reactionary. We're 6 games in, Man Utd's top 4 status is not in threat.

Kamran usually talks sense, he's used to dealing with this sort of stuff on our board

There are not many better than RVP.
But I'm afraid for your sake, there are many better than the rest of your current squad.
United spent 27 million on Fellaini, when they needed a creative midfielder, and your best defenders are starting to show their age.
United may well still finish top 4, but it isn't guaranteed.
Some of you talk as though its nailed on you will go on a glorious run of victories, just because its happened in the past, which is slightly silly.
Other teams have improved their squads greatly, some have brought in true world class talent, whilst United have stood still somewhat.
You lost your talisman both on and off the field when Fergie retired, so don't expect things to run as you would normally expect, because too many variables have changed in terms of other teams personnel, management, and finances over the last couple of years, for things to just constantly repeat themselves season after season.

I'd be shocked if we weren't targeting the Europa with the squad we've got..

On Moyes, I haven't seen him do anything special yet. No game changing decisions, no wins against the odds.. not even a proper signing. I'm all for giving managers a chance but he's got big shoes to fill. Of course he has to grow into them but the longer he goes without showing signs the pressure will only increase.

People love to point how long you gave Fergie but the pressure was different then, football was still run by the traditional big clubs, and the media paid little more than a passing interest in manager's habits.

I think unless you back him heavily in the market and a top DoF (no idea who's doing it but surely they've been sacked already?) I think you'll slide into mediocrity. Maybe he'll turn it around, I certainly think you'll get top 4, but my guess is Moyes will last 2 years, tops.

No game changing decisions,
===========================

not strictly true, we played well in the first half on saturday, Nani and Kagawa were playing well and created 3 or 4 good chances, he then takes of Kagawa and switched Nani to LW, we are then appalling in the 2nd half, so that was a game changing decision
