So 'FCHT' & 'Duzza' decide to go to the match after all !

Duzza reckons they can go by Cesna from Leeds/Bradford airport straight to LUTON Airport

However, they only just make it ..the 3 seater is just about to take off

'FC' says to Duzza....
"I wish I'd brought the piano with us" !!!!

'WHAT.... The Piano, what for???"

'FC'
"because I've left the tickets on top of it"

Angela Merkel landed at WARSAW airport this week..!
And respectfully waited in line at passport control

The Polish passport control officer asked her...
"Occupation"

Ange.
"Nah, your right mate, Don't worry. I'm only here for the Football"

Looking back to the previous meeting at Luton which finished 5-0 to the Hatters, there were 2 noticeable inclusions for the Shaymen that day.

Firstly Neil Redfearn currently employed at Leeds United as the first team coach, and the man the club turns to when yet another manager is sacked because they failed to win promotion (never the owners fault )!

Secondly my "good" friend Andy Woodward (last seen 10 years ago). I've met some great players such as Eddie Gray, Kenny Burns, Nigel Martyn, Gerrard , etc, but the excitement meeting them doesn't come close to meeting Town's new recruit from Sheffield United in the summer of 2001. However, I don't think he appreciated me telling him his scout report on a Playstation manager game whilst at Bury, describing his heading and positioning as poor and his marking and tackling as mediocre

As for tomorrow, I'll go for a 2-2 scoreline, with the Shaymen twice levelling from behind.

Coming from behind TWICE Ken
exciting stuff none the less,
Yeah. I'd be happy with that.

Are you at 'pride Park' tonight , or on here ?

On here today, and I'm afraid I've got some bad news! Duzza is not attending the match today (probably has visions of 'FC' forgetting the tickets, plus he's scared of flying ). Instead he has opted to play in a golf tournament and if it goes bad his handicap will go up one for next weeks doubles tournament, so Duzza if you're reading I hope you've had a shocker

160/1 today for a West Yorkshire quadruple! Add a couple of 0's to it and it still probably doesn't represent good value

What are your expectations v Derby Ken.
expecting all 3 points or a more cautious approach !

Bit harder to pick them having a 'new bloke' in charge.
If you can keep winning..& TOWN can get something from today, & hopefully a point away at Leicester,
It will all build up nicely to the
BLOCKBUSTER West Riding Derby at the end of the month

how ironic I'm darn to do the match thread on our board

Lost 9 in a row against Derby in all comps, our last earned at their place in 2006 with a 0-0 draw. So will definitely take a draw today.

Derby beat us 2-0 in our first season back in the 2nd tier after relegation from the Prem, before that they were without a win against Leeds in 17. I'm hoping we don't reach those figures!

Well I remember last years match thread and it went rather well surprisingly!

Home game for Hudds V Watford, contrast to the same fixture last season when Town could have gone top and it looked like a disappointing result. Confident of a win?

I said Barnsley would have some "easier" fixtures coming up...QPR away today

Finally, on to the main event, 2 changes for the Shaymen with McReady and Marshall given a start, both players came on after half time in last weekends victory.

...and Paul Marshall fires the visitors in front
