Suarez Among The Top 5 In The World?

"The comparisons are pretty pointless because Ozil and Suarez bring different things to their teams. "

No one's directly comparing them. And it's clear as daylight that they are completely different. But they are both attacking players, so in a way one can see which is the better player. Ozil is second best only to Iniesta in his position, while I'd place quite a lot of players ahead of Suarez in his.
It is debatable whether he is in the top 10 in the world also.

"And maybe we should give Ozil at least a half-season run in the team before the premature posts hyping him as the best player in the league."

I suppose you'd implore us to do the same if we signed Iniesta too right? What about if we resigned Cesc or even Ibra?
Should we ignore their current standing in world football and start from anew?

How has RVP gone downhill? He's started off quite slow but has still scored 6 goals this season. What a facking stupid comment.

"He could well be the best striker in the prem though? RvP has gone downhill and I rate him maybe just a fraction above Aguero. Him and Benteke are well up there!"

RVP is still superior. His team has gone downhill. Not him.
Aguero is comfortably superior too.
Benteke should'nt even be in the discussion.

Indeed Darren, early days....

People tend to write players off very very quickly. Sad.

Messi and Ibrahimovic are the only superior strikers for me. And maybe Falcao on par with him. Suarez is better than Aguero who you hype so much. He's been better than RVP since he left Arsenal. He's far beuer than Cavani and Lewandowski.

Yeah the aguero that scored 11 goals last season..

Aguero scored 17 goals last season.

Benteke? You cannot be serious?

Yes. He'll have to prove himself in this league outside his Barca comfort zone. Veron arrived England as the best midfielder in Serie A and we know how that went. There are never guarantees. And I say that despite regularly jizzing over Iniesta.

To be fair, I actually think Suarez is better than Aguero.

Aguero is pretty hit or miss. At his best I think Aguero is the best and most devastating player in the league but it's not often he applies it.

For me Suarez performs to his best with more regularity than Aguero so I'd make him a better player for it.

Spot on. People just prefer Aguero cos he's silkier. But Suarez is a more consistent threat to the opposition. And he's more creative and versatile than Aguero.

RVP, Aguero, Ozil & Mata

Yes, no, no, yes

30apps in league 12 goals

Messi is not a striker really.
Falcao is easily better than Suarez. Same with Ibra. Aguero. He's a poor man's Aguero if anything. Can't see how anyone who watches the Prem week in week out can say he's better than the Argentinian.
Cavani is on par with him. RVP is superior too.

If you really think he's far better than Lewandowski and Cavani though then you have no clue. Sorry.

Do these guys genuinely believe Mata is better than Ozil?

Dubbed has spoken. Everybody else's opinion is invalid, and if you think otherwise you are a clueless fool.

End of discussion.

He doesn't apply as he gets injured quite often. When he's there he's the one running the show.
Watch how City fall to pieces without him. They would've won the Villa game if he was there. Bayern are just too strong.

Dubbed massively underrates Suarez and massively overrates Aguero.

The whole reason people say Suarez is better is because they do watch the prem week in week out and see Suarez regularly outperform the Argentinian.

Never once said. But it should be applied to bitter and deluded fools like you and Edinspurs who can't bring themselves to give credit to Arsenal.

When did he outperform Aguero? Last year when the Argentinian was out for long periods of the season and Suarez was in the form of his life?

I'm not even looking at form tbh. When both are on song Aguero is comfortably superior. That's how I look at it.

Mata's more overrated than Suarez.

Dubbed,

You quite openly tell people that have a different opinion to you that they have no clue, despite their argument being more than reasonable. Basically saying you are right and they are wrong.

Please explain to me how I am bitter and deluded? I have given Arsenal a lot of credit this season and I think you will finish 2nd this season.

You have a massive chip on your soldier.

Aguero >>> Suarez

Although his poor form often lets him down. Aguero at his peak is top top top top top draw.

I think Aguero has slightly more ability than Suarez, but as others have mentioned Suarez is a lot more consistent and does a lot more damage.

Suarez gets the nod for me overall.
