Well sorry we didnt deliver the perfect performance

Sunderland away is always a tough game. I can't see why people think not dominating for 90 minutes is enough reason to come on here and moan like we lost.

NEWSFLASH - we've been in poor form recently. We have to take it slowly before we play like Barca.

we won thats all that mattered today not too mention januzai looks like he could be the real deal. Shut the fack up moaning and give moyes a bit of credit...

*******************

Please shut up. If you can give him credit, you can effing critisize him. Anything else is blinkered. You cannot be one sided in your emotional outpouring.

I bet you if we had a perfect 3-0 completely dominant performance, they would be no criticism.

utd have had plenty of performances like that over the years with fergie. But when he got results like this it was deemed a sign of a good team that you can win when not playing well.
Now moyes picked a starting line up that was brave attacking and pretty much what most posters have been clamouring for for weeks now. You cant hold him responsible for the poor defensive play that lead to their goal and you cant hold him responsible for van persies inexplicable miss or indeed his and rooneys off day. But there was a lot of good today carrick, adnan and the fact that the team like under fergie had the character to get back into the game. With all that the negativity around the club in recent weeks I think moyes deserves some credit and encouragement for todays result...

Anyways I thought we played decently today. At the first half I was sure we would still win by more even, but that is not the issue here

The problem is So many times in recent history, we had turgid performances lead to good results and it became ok to want this. For me, this as plastic as wanting to buy new players and criticising managers when they do not win. Why is it ok to win without playing well? Why is it ok to win a league title without having one game you can hang your hat on?

Good football is what fans want. If playing rubbish leads to winning and you are happy with this, that makes the most important thing winning. Just how different then are you from a glory hunting fan?

Good football is what fans of football want. Fans of a club support the club regardless, else how do you explain teams like Bolton and Stoke having fans? United fans have been spoilt with the likes of Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes etc and think that being a supporter is all about supporting a club who play good football and win.

Newsflash, being a true football fan is about supporting the club when they are struggling!

News flash, supporting a team does NOT mean ignoring flaws. Grow up.

We did play decently so why you facking moaning

As for wanting good football of course I like every football fan in the world wants that. If you read my post Im the one praising moyes for picking an exciting looking team that promised to do this and for parts of the game the team played some "decent" stuff. But if you knew fack all about the game you would know that leagues are never won playing "good" football every week despite the best intentions to do so. Sometimes like today its the result and the 3 points that matters.

Only a moron wouldnt know that

how different are you from a moron ?

Redastomatos i think ur the one who needs to grow up and differentiate between supporting a club through better or worse and supporting a club when they do well and criticising their flaws when they win without playing well.

Cant believe i have to point this out to you, but most football fans would be delighted if their team could win when playing poorly.

Yes, we didnt play like barca and we could have passed and defended better at times, but we came from behind against difficult opposition to win the game amd after our last few games thats all we wanted.

If someone had said to you before the game "would u take a 2-1 win" you would have said yes. So dont be fúcking cry baby.

Ah I see your getting angry. I have not moaned about the game yet, check my posts.

I am here trying make it clear that seeing flaws is part of what a thinking fan should do. Ignoring flaws is for fans who do not want to use your brain. The world has enough room for all of us.

And if you are going to call me a moron, first answer my question? If you cannot play entertainingly to win a game, your just playing to win, how exactly does that differ from a "glory hunting" and just being in it for the win?

And what about when you play rubbish on purpose AND lose?

And the purpose of supporting a team is to enjoy them winning alone regardless of how they get there? Then I must be the worst fan for not caring about the result and just hoping the manager puts out his best team and hoping they do their best.

Like I said, till you all get off your foolish moral high horses, I will keep pointing out your hypocrisy.

Redaatomatoes, you are indeed the worst sort of fan, but not becausr of any of that self righteous drivel you just spouted, but because you want to criticise your team when they have just won a game.

Flash you honestly need to stop.

I told you, I am not supporting united because they win, I don't care if they lose as long as they tried to win. Trust me, if moyes was putting out teams like the one he put out today and it was still losing, he won't be under criticism from anyone except numpties who are in it for the win alone.

Any fan just happy with the win alone is not a thinking fan. That's ok if you want to ignore how the win is got, in that case you as well just wait for the results on the classified and celebrate when you win. I am really trying to make you all understand that how the result is gotten is what should differentiate real fans and glory hunters

The day you stop aiming at getting the best type of football played at the club, and just being happy you won, you become the worst type of fan.

He's just another spoilt glory hunter who thinks we should win every game 3-0 with 100% possession, blabla <ok!>

Thats ok. I t must be easier to for your brilliant brain to ignore reasons why we won. As an idiot, I would think of how we should improve, hopefully something our manager is doing, because if he was like you guys we would be a woeful team. But you are not stupid, not stupid at all.
