A club that is having it’s soul and identity ripped from it. I’d rather be in the JPT every year with a team called Wolverhampton Wanderers playing in our colours with our badge than winning the Prem with a team called Super Wolverines playing in Kazakh national costume with a Ying & Yang symbol for a badge.
And no Herb that isn’t racist.
Up there with owners who go into dressing rooms to have a rant at the players.
Could never happen here of course ......................
"I’d rather be in the JPT every year with a team called Wolverhampton Wanderers playing in our colours with our badge"
What about in the JPT for two measly rounds before being kicked out by a lower team after a pathetic performance and even more pathetic penalty shootitoverthebar every year...but playing in our colours with our badge?
I'll take that over the changes their owners have made.
If Morgan agreed to put £50m extra in if we swapped to a red strip and put a Liver bird on the front would you thank him?
If Morgan agreed to put £50m extra in if we swapped to a red strip and put a Liver bird on the front would you thank him?
Only if he brought Super Mick back.
What?
May seem a trivial thing to some but to me the gold and black is central to Wolves, I would never go again if that were changed.
Agree completely tats, its about a brand rather than a club in Cardiff now.
Saints are not far behind with how they are doing things, red and white stripes gone, barely a murmur and living off a dead billionaire.
Tatter. Your gonna need a lot more than £50m. That's peanuts in today's climate.
Got me thinking after your performance v Notts Co. What has gone so spectacularly wrong at Wolves and so brilliantly right at the Albion since we joined you in the prem back in the day?
Hardly a month goes by at wolves without some sort of fluckup.
One word, Anichebe.....enough said, oh no hang on...Anelka.....

Strange, I never think about Albion.
Don't blame you wolfie. Not much going on cept boring stuff like utd away and arsenal at home. Not too much to interest you there. ....
Sadly it is nothing more complex than allowing a squad to stagnate tidy........everything else is just a knock on effect.
We sacked Mick........that's what went wrong
Alas, mick only got sacked because of the problem i mentioned halfy.
Mick had taken us to our highest position in 30 years, and when he was sacked, we were no worse a position than in the previous 2 seasons !
Anything else is purely speculation...........
Nothing like a good 'Mick' debate......right ?
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, halfy......
Ha, and we saw how good elokobi and Foley were last night, they incredibly played in the prem
Elokobi won the game against Man U when they came to the Mol ! And Foley was a damn fine player a couple of years ago........................suppose they lost their father figure and mentor !
They were shocking last night that's for sure
All players have their moments, its consistency that's counts halfy.
Can you believe we actually fielded Edwards and eggert as our central midfield pair in our THIRD season in the prem?!?
Ah well, water under the bridge, we are finally turning things around again and will bounce back.
So why have the Albion progressed despite losing a manager and losing a director of football while wolves have gone into free fall?
It can't be just Micks fault.
As I already said tidy, we never refreshed our squad.
Tell me, at the start of your third season in the prem how many of the promotion side were still regulars?
Sign in if you want to comment
Management could ALWAYS be worse
