I can call in sick if no one else can drive him!
£12m? Bite their hands off
Given age and ability 12.5 million seems a very generous offer. Anything over 8 I would take happily.
£12.5m!?!?!
PRAY LIKE FECK THAT THEY DON'T CHANGE THEIR MINDS BEFORE THE TRANSFER WINDOW RE-OPENS
Sell. Sell. Sell.
They can only buy Valencia, if Young can come along too.
Make it £12.6 million and we'll throw Young in too
I would be willing to let them off 2m, if they take Young.
For 12.5 million I would personally drive him over there, and I'd put Young in the boot as a gift.
Then we can adress midfield with the money. Give games to zaha and Januzaj, Nani on wings.
bunch of jokers, how quickly we seem to cast out united players, yes he hasent been great the past few years but hes a very good squad player to have especially if januzaj makes the step up to 1st team, with him and young sold we would have nani as our only established winger, with unproven guys like januzaj and zaha, what a way to run a team

I would rather use Valencia + 5m or so to get Baines than sell him for 12.5m that we wont see again.
Hippo, we paid 16m or so for him, a slight loss on him given his decline in ability is acceptable.

Hahaha Diva quality. I knew today would be a good day
I would much rather keep Valencia, and sell Young.
Beggars can't be choosers, Maestro.
Young back to Villa for Benteke ?
kaz
So what do you suggest? That we fill the whole team full of average squad players based on their good form of yesteryear?
The club has to move forward and sentiment has to take a back seat if we want to keep on establishing ourselves as one of the top teams. Valencia, Ando and Young are either not United quality or have already peaked.
The one thing that can't happen - is to sell Valencia, and get either no one in (which I can't see Moyes doing) or getting someone average in to replace him.
Galatasaray you can have Valencia for free and I'll be happy
I'd be more that happy if there's an ounce of truth in this Express story. Valencia's isn't going to recapture his form from a couple of sesaons back
------------------------------
How could you possibly know that?
Rooney was pants last season too and now look at him
Carrick the season after Rome when the boards were full of Carrick out articles?
He's had a dip in form but it's stupid to suggest he can't get over it

1 poor season and he's in the gallows
Season before last he was our player of the season.
You guys should read all your comments. Phrases like I'll call in sick and drive him somewhere myself are utterly pathetic

I agree, he shouldn't phone in sick when he isn't sick.
Do it on your day off.
Macca,
Yes, one full season and Valencia has been totally shìte And judging by the start of this season there seems to be very little signs of improvement. Would you not agree, if he doesn't start to showing some serious form come summer then we should be looking at other options to what has always been one of our most potent positions?
If we are changing our style of play, then Valencia should be sold. But right now we don't even know what style Moyes will implement in the future.
i agree with Macca, one poor season and people call for them to be sold. Very poor support.

We have Nani currently ahead of him and Zaha in the wings. Give Toni a break to see if he can get his form back because he's quality at his best
Sorry but I just find comments like I'll drive him there myself about a player that has been great for us bar 1 season as a joke.
Would you have sold Carrick at the end of 2009/10 season because of a form dip that season?
I'll judge Toni at the end of this season at the very least
Currently the only problem I have with Valencia is his final ball - which is seemingly only good for winning corners. It is very rare that his crosses find anyone, let alone who he was aiming for. There are still few better sights than watching him running at full speed past a full back - it doesn't happen anywhere near often enough these days though.
