Afridi can bat. hes never had the mental captability of stucked around long enough.. he has to hit every ball for 4.
One of them selection where the selectors keep going back to the same ppl over and over again.
Like England do in odi's. Luke Wright will be picked for the 20/20 world cup and in Australia.

Pakistan need to make changes, no doubt about it. The fact that Maqsood came in played positivley and scored runs proves there is talent in Pakistan, but the PCBs favouritism in selection is out main enemy.

Lots of pakistani fans now calling for wholesale changes, but with a year left to the World Cup, that would be very very risky. There are 4/5 players that we know will not perform in austraila, do lets send them on Thier bikes now;

Love the guy Afridi. Always supported him, but I'm a pakistani fan first and foremost and the PCB should also do best for Pakistan cricket and not personal favourites.

BTW Afridi will never get axed but he brings too money in for PCB due to his brand. I do expect him to go on the SA tour but I think he won't play and instead we will a batsman that can occasionally bowl.

We have talented players, abundance of skill but lack of brain cells- the PCB, coach and captain are just thick, stupid and bereft of common sense. That's the most frustrating thing....

I think it's obvious that Umar Akmal with the gloves has not worked. It's affected his batting and his keeping has been poor with him conceding too many byes. We need another keeper batsman who is that Safraz dude or the other 2 Kackmals.

That Rizwan guy does not appear to have a good limited overs record but we may need to blood him in. My team for SA:

3) Maqsood
4) U Akmal
5) Misbah
6) Hafeez
7) Rizwan (wk)

9) Ajmal
10) Junaid

However I think either Malik or Razzaq is being primed to come back in the one day side to lengthen the batting so fek knows what will happen.

Kash, in all seriousness though, misbah lost 4/5 tosses. I honestly think if he win 2/3 then we'd have seen a different result in this series, thts how pathetic we are at chasing and over-reliant on batting first....

Umar Akmal with the gloves is our only choice I'm afraid. We can't afford a WK at 7 who can't hold a bat. I honestly think if you allow Umar Akmal to bat one position higher to number five, we will see his rewards. He got to 30 today in a decent way because he had time. Most of the time he hasn't had time.

Regarding the team, I want to see Misbah given a chance to build a team. He's always had players like Younis Malik to contend with and hafeez and afridi atm. We don't need spinning allrounders atm, so get rid! I'd accept Hafeez as a specialist allrounder position at #6/7 but there is no need for Afridi unless we play in spinning conditions which means at #8 max.

I don't want razzaq back for RSA but providing he performs, we desperately need a seaming all rounder.

Robin if Misbah builds a team he will kill Maqsood and convert him into the next Azhar Ali

What is it about Misbah that annoys you lot (serious question)? Was it his captaincy in the field or his batting?

Because I never saw any of the bowling performances but his batting was quiet impressive compared to other times conidering he scored at a much better strike rate....

Maybe it's the fact that he loves India so much?

This game alone:

- Waited until the 25th over to bowl our best new ball bowler in Junaid
- Hafeez only getting 3 overs on a spinning track
- Giving Tanvir the death overs again who made Ishant Sharma look decent.
