Openers did well first test. The 2nd innings was more down to poor mind set thinking the game was won and that RSA would take it easy.

The Dubai track is always very flat and I expect this test to end a draw.

In all seriousness though, I know what you mean. But it's mainly due to a lack of experience and fall of early wickets that leads to slow batting. The batsmen have been faultless in this series though

its funny how english fans try try hard to put anderson in the same basket as Steyn. Steyn is daylight ahead of second best fast bowlers in the world, whoever that second one is.

Steyn was just gifted a wicket. Was a very poor shot for Khan there.Anderson is a good bowler and can bowl to left handers better than Steyn.. Steyn gets more right handers out because hes quick and bowls close to the stumps the late movement Is deadly.

how better is steyn than anderson? In terms of average, the answes is as better anderson is than Ishant sharma. Fact.
A fan of anderson though, a great bowling action and hugely improved but stat clearly shows how anderson is not in the same class as steyn, anderson belongs to siddle, zaheer khan, broad, pattinson class.
Pattinson, though seems like the next dale steyn.

Whats worse is Pakistan are getting done by the worlds worst leg-spinner and a Pakistani reject at that. Embarrassing. Anyways, its was good whilst it lasted …. The first test of a series is what always matters, the rest is insignificant.

As for Pakistan, whatmore said in his interviews prior to the game that he’d take a 1-0, hinting at playing for a draw. That kinda mentality doesn’t help.

of course pak have been poor. never a 60-6 wicket. pakistan have bottled it and more often than not when the pressure is on thats exactly what they do.

I have never said that i have any problem with english fans and indian fans comparing anderson and zaheer respectively to the supreme dale steyn, thats just normal , infact its good to see the passion and support. Sport is enjoyable that way. Btw, i m a neutral fan and find Steyn records incredible, he has more wikets while playing about 20 test lESS than anderson,who is a very good bowler for england himself.
