All the plastic fans jumping ship - priceless
Don't be silly, united will end up in the top 4. With players like Rooney & Rvp united will get their act together
Missing out on the CL for one year really wouldn't be that bad.

The clubs finances would take an unbelievable knock.
How do you know it would be just one year? I bet Liverpool fans were saying that.
Wow
How do all the other clubs cope then? How are they even in existence?
SLM you are one complete pr!ck

bit of an exaggeration, you have mre than enough cash to handle one year out of the CL. If it starts to become a trend then that's different.
whilst you actually make a good but extremely exaggerated point. we are 4 points of fourth and only 8 games in to the season.
with our toughest fixtures out of the way. we have 3 easier games coming up - stoke. norwich at home and fulham away.
then we have the arsenal game and im confident we can beat them. the problem arsenal have is that they have peaked to early and wont maintain this form.
their toughest game has been against Bale-less spurs so im not that worried about them until they start beating the likes of us, man city and chelsea and to a lesser extent liverpool.

1) Do all the clubs have the level of debt we do?
2) Do all the clubs accounts state that we need a minimum if Top 3 and last 16 of the CL?
3) Do all the other clubs have to pay £50m in interest a year?

By having lower expectations and achieving less I would have thought.

A wild stab in the dark but there is a reason the club account say a minimum of top 3 and last 16 of the CL.
But hey, what do the directors know aye?
Why are united in so much debt when they earn so much money? It's not like uthey spend much on transfers either
Our debt is fine and I think we have some tax advantages from being in debt

Our debt is not fine.
£500m in Interest alone in the last 8 years isn't fine. That could have been money invested into the playing squad.

---------
we are not is "so" much debt
that debt can be paid off. its only at 300m which united will probably pay of when the float some more of the club again.
with the nike and chevrolet deals that debt will be paid off in no time.
admiteddly even tho we will make a heck of a lot of money when its paid of, the glazers will take a large chunk.
however I still believe they will give us around 50-10m a year for transfers to keep us competing. they know what they are doing and wont let their cash cow fall in to mediocity.
all these negative united fans are worrying prematurely.
Its good to be in a little bit of debt. Glazers know what they are doing
No worries, we'll just win the CL

and what would our previous board have done? given us the same sort of cash that the glazers are giving us now? whats the difference?
that 500million is irrelevant as glazers have increased our cash flow and worth significantly. it will all benefit us in the long run but will cost us now.
a stable club needs a stable manager and stable owners. moyes needs a season and the glazers are close to paying of the debt. we will have a tough season but it will be rosey again. grow some long term vision ffs.
we aren't going to do a liverpool, times have changed.
Missing out on the CL would be terrible.when Moyes joined I like most fans said I could accept no trophies for 3 seasons while we transition but no CL is not acceptable. If Moyes can't qualify with this set of players then he is definitely doing something wrong.
Consequences of missing top 4

We'll go into administration and the world we know will seize to exist.
8 Premier League games in and you see ridiculous articles like this. At the end of the day, there's absolutely no evidence to suggest that we aren't going to make it in the top 4. With our poor start, we're 5 points behind 4th place with 30 games to go.
Just calm down and start looking at the bigger picture of a football season.
We're not going to miss out on CL football

What's the bigger picture with Moyes?
Were 5 points off a champions league place 8 games in
could have been 3 points off if those shots hadnt hit the woodwork
relax people.....

Actually there is no evidence to suggest we will finish in top 4.
So far everything points to the opposite. The excuse before was our "tough" start, this was suppposed to be the "easy" run in up to Christmas yet we can't beat mid table teams.
