With Tyke finishing first and May second they would face-off in the first semi-final and with Tyke never having beaten May and there last encounter finishing 7 – 2 to May, May was the favorite. May took control of the possession if not the game and both teams had chances. However a defensive error by Tyke gave May the advantage he needed in the shape of a penalty which he put away with ease. However May wasn’t given much time to enjoy this lead when a defensive mistake of his own enabled Tyke to get even and make it 1 – 1 which it stayed at going into half-time. The second-half saw good chances for both players, but neither could get the job done and golden goal was needed. Again it looked like we would finish the first-half of golden goal without finding out a winner until Tyke caught May’s defender out of position and took his chance to go through to the final! Felt for May with that one, but he was gracious in defeat and his time will come again of that I’m sure.
So the winner of the other group SpursBoy would play JAG. JAG voiced his fears before the match about the task of facing a player yet to concede and looking at his best and this must’ve played a part when SpursBoy had three goals by the second-half. JAG however had got a goal of his own and decided to go for it, unfortunately fortune didn’t favor the brave in this instance and SpursBoy made the score line look very nice indeed winning 5 – 1. SpursBoy looking in excellent form and ready for that fifth title, whilst JAG did well in even getting to the semi-final, so no shame on his part.
So for the first time since the inaugural tournament in Febuary 2012, Tyke was in an official tournament! However he was up against an opponent who has obliterated him in there last few matches, yes that player was SpursBoy. The game started with SpursBoy having the chances and he was 1 – 0 up just under 20 mins when a defensive error enabled him to get behind and scored a tap-in. However chances did come Tyke’s way after this and momentum was slowly building going into half-time with SpursBoy still 1 – 0 to the good. The feeling was in the second-half that if SpursBoy scored it would be over, but he didn’t and in the 75th min Tyke equalized to put him straight back into this match. This followed up by a golden chance that really should’ve gone in and been 2 – 1 to Tyke, but it was squandered. SpursBoy asserted the pressure for the remainder of the game, but Tyke withstood the storm and golden goal was going to decide this final. SpursBoy clearly despondent with golden goal having lost a number of them recently, however he took the game by the throat and won this game on the 6th min with a well-placed header! SpursBoy secured a fifth title and looks set to keep his trophy haul record in the official tournaments for a long time to come, so very well done to him. I on the other hand, disappointed naturally, but I’m just glad I gave him a game! With my defensive work paying off, I reckon I’ll be back in this final and it won’t take me another 13 attempts this time!
One last PS3 Fifa 13 Tournament coming up (and I mean it this time) and that is going to be finishing in some style with a trip to Saudi Arabia. Hopefully we can get a similar turnout to what we had at this tournament. Rankings have been updated and the official tournament thread is now SPAM FREE. Hope to see you on the 24th November for the next tournament.

Brilliant review. Just one query, I don't recall getting smashed 3-0 by ludy
Brilliant review as always tyke, I think me beating ludy 3-2 and game counting for nothing threw me off a bit! Looking forward to the last tournament,
Can't see where it says that SpursBoy?
Oh yeah now I can, awards.
