pretty much the same as me then. I expect Paulinho to do his box-to-box thing and given we're at home, to see him in more forward positions than in our own half

If we want Paulinho to drive forward which he does to good effect we need to use Sandro instead of Dembele imo

Was it just me or did Lennon look like he had put on loads of weight last night? He looked rather podgy on the tv.

I would expect both Dembele and Sandro to both start, AVB will find a way to accomodate both. Sandro for his tackling and winning the ball, and Dembele for his ability to push the team forward and spread the play.

yup

wheras both sandro and dembele started yesterday. Its a tossup between those two, but for me Sandro edges it. Dembele to come on as he did against Villa if needed.

Its funny isnt it? Chadli practically got written off when we signed Lamela and Eriksen, yet Chadli has been the better out of him and Lamela.

Yet some posters are claiming to give Lamela a chance but there are no real shouts for Chadli.

Do we? I dont follow Italian football and so i have to make my mind up on what i have seen - as i would do for any player, whether it be with Spurs or elsewhere.

And to be frank, its not looking good at the moment. People say we should give him time to adjust, but to adjust to what, the Premiership? yeah fair enough, but he should easily be able to adapt to EL football - and he hasnt at all.

A lot of posters have said Defoe has only scored against X, Y and Z, yet its X, Y and Z who are making Lemala look poor.

We have to be consistent here - if he cost £2m from Italy we wouldnt be so patient.

Yes we would, because of his performances in serie a. If he cost £2m that would have made no difference to me, same expectations as I know what he can achieve. He does need to improve physically though, and needs to find some confidence
