Yes. Technically poor and not the greatest passer, but he is very energetic, presses well, works hard for the team and he contributes both offensively and defensively. Good player to have in the squad.

Cesc at Arsenal was a better player than Mata. The last 2 seasons though saw Cesc misused or under-used in Barca. You could argue Mata has been better based on the last 2 seasons.
