Took out 2 Man'O'Wars tonight

Could only add one to my fleet though

It is a big moment taking down your first man o'war.

Haven't beaten a legendary ship yet though

I took them both at the same time plus all the gunships following. To be fair though they were fighting initially.

I just found two legendary ships by accident, I was in the area and investigating a question mark in the middle of nowhere which turned out to be two of them sitting side-by-side.

It will be a long time before I go back there though. How do I get the elite ship stuff? I'm close to maxing out my boat...

Goggle them, I have elite hull, I got the plans from a chest diving at a wreck. I dont have anything else elite.
They're in chests hidden on land or at sea.

I haven't unlocked diving yet, I really should push on in the story

Is the fleet only usable online or is it any use off line

Only online. Opened my 12th port tonight. Discovered mortars and have been using them to great effect.

The amount of money I can rack up quickly is stupid. Just upgrading anything I can at the minute.

No further in the story though

Mortars are insane for damage, waiting till I have the golden ones, my full broadside cannons along with my elite hull before I hit the legendary ships again

I also noticed the treasure maps are where the elite stuff is although I only have 3 of the storage ones so far.

Took out a warehouse island last night, it was covered in those big ax-wielding guys. Must have been about 50 of them and snipers.

Not as much now, have the story done. Have all the templar keys, the Mayan stones and all those watchtowers or whatever you call them beaten.
Also don't have any ? Left on the map

Just have to max out my ship and take down the legendary ones

Wow, I've been working too much on my fleet. Very little of the story done or the map cleared (although I have started taking out those bases).

Have you tried taking on one of the legendary ships?

I did try and take down one and it beat me with about a quarter of its life left so need to do some more upgrading

If I attack one of those two I found will the other attack me as well?

I didn't take on the two as I assume they are together, went for a single one. It still bet me

Ive cleared out two islands and performed an assassination, just doing my fleet stuff before heading to continue the story.

Didn't make it as far as the story....again.

There was loads of epic battles tonight, I saw a Royal Naval fleet worth 10k shoot out with 2 Manowars, I nipped it and got the 10k then repaired and destroyed the two big ships

Just saw a 4 way manowar shootout but got involved in some whaling and they were gone when I had finished.
